Ladies...I saw the most .....beautiful....ok...a lady had a poppy on...I lose mine withing 3 minutes...well her friend had given her a pin with the silhouette of a dove...the dove pin holds the poppy in place!
Lynn, I always lose my poppy right away like you do. Today someone gave me a hint that should work. Take the little back off a pierced earing and put it on the pin part of the poppy. It should stay on. I just got my second poppy of this year and am going to do that right away.
A friend suggested putting the little Canada Flag pin in the centre and that really works well too.
Kathy hope that headache goes away fast!!!
I actually got into my card stash today and am getting hem ready to go to the Thrift store.. . Last year I did them up in packages of 4 tied a ribbon around and They disappeared very quickly.
Still very dreary... and rainy..
I am getting sleepy again. And my back hurts. I see the pain dr. on Tuesday. I imagine another injection will be scheduled, although it may be a little different. The last two helped a bit but now my leg is numb again and my fingers all hurt!
Kathy, I am so sorry you are in so much pain. Sending hugs.
Okay, I read about these Northern Lights cards and didn't know what you were talking about until I saw Ina's and she directed me to the tutorial. I tried it. Here is mine I did for VSN. (I just discovered the VSN challenges too) Anyway I wasn't happy with mine. It is not gorgeous like all of yours. My snowman looks like he is in a duststorm! LOL I know one thing, he is suppose to be a silhouette, but I didn't have that kind of snowman, and the VSN challenge was to use a snowman. I did another VSN challenge today, too. This was last day. I liked that card better. Here is Foil Christmas.
Wow! Two cards today! I still have to do the tree card for this challenge.
I do my bedtime routine...wash hands..put polysporin all over them ...rub it in...then put on gloves so I don't ruin my sheets...then sleep with them on...after a few times it is better....I also need to put it at the corner of my eyes and mouth so they don't crack as well
Lynn, thanks for posting the link of the glimmer mist tutorial. Sorry the Michaels truck didn't stop to bring you treats. Would you call that a 'hit and run'? dreams are really weird aren't they. A few weeks ago I dreamed two nights in a row that I had gone back to work. Then, when I talked to quite a few of my old colleagues this week, many said they had been wishing for me to come back. Made me feel wanted, but not enough to go back to work.
