Good afternoon ladies, hope you are having a wonderful day, I have been busy of late but that is about to change, I am still doing french but I have given up half of the classes, I found I could not keep the pace, I am always tired and I was finding if very difficult to get anything else done. Onto regular life now, I am very happy my french is continuing and I hope to take my exam soon but who knows when my boss will book it. My HYCCT challenges are done, I just have to post the last of the cards, and then I can move onto these challenges, oh but first I must must must clean my house, it is a disaster.
Kathy had that problem last time too...no idea why
It is sunny and dry so I feel a bit better today...running around changing the clocks...Kerra ...her internal clock did not change
I never did figure out what I did wrong in the DTGD challenges with my links. I ended up redoing each one of those too, but for some reason, it worked this time. I am thinking it had something to do with my renaming the links, but I'm still not sure! This time I just pasted each link directly from the card into a spreadsheet and then copied and pasted that into a Word Document. From there I copied and pasted into the reply in the thread and it worked. I'm not sure if it would have worked if I would have copied and pasted directly from the spreadsheet to the reply box or not, but I wasn't taking any chances. and I checked again yesterday and that DTGD list still won't link right! LOL
Here is our challenge for today: Thumping! Beate on SCS has a Thumping Tutorial right here on SCS.
Easy Peasy! Ink up your stamp and then thump on it with a different color marker. It adds highlights and depth! Here is mine.
Can't wait to see what you do! Don't forget the keyword YCDI209 so it will be in our gallery and we can see everyone's work.
I did the envelope and inside to match the card, but didn't take photos. It took me longer to do that than the card. I have it sealed and addressed and stamped. It is a thank you for my BFF for my birthday gifts, visit, shopping. Will walk it across the street to my mailbox now.
Lynn, use whatever you have markers, colors, to do the challenge!
Just home from the hospital. Reagan Elizabeth was born at 8:21 this morning weighing in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces. She looks so tiny compared to her 17 month old brother who weighs 30 pounds!I probably wont be making any cards in the next few days. Will be staying with my DD in hospital tonight, as her husband is 6 foot, 5 inches and weighs 280 pounds and sure does not fit on the little fold up beds.
