My friend (MelissaL here on splitcoast) is having a birthday today and my oldest DD is having a birthday tomorrow. Lots and lots of birthdays in October.
The weather here in southwestern Ontario continues to be fabulous. Sunny and today it should get up to 21 C. degrees. That's 70 degrees in the U.S. Lots of gardening to be done.....mostly digging up root veggies, cutting down annuals and some perennials and the other half of the lawn still needs to be mowed today.
Hope everyone has a great day!
I have my card posted. I combined last week's challenge to make a tag and this week's challenge to use same color layers. I had the tag done last week, but life got in the way of posting it. So, I put it on my card for this week.
Thanks ladies for the challenges. Lots of fun and challenging, too!
The weather outside is gorgeous...my place is HOT I have full afternoon sun and Kerra has already started drooling...In the house we would need to heat on by now. Working on poinsettias today...hoping to do the challenge tomorrow and bring Kerra for a trip to the pet store,,,Monday I am at a friend's for thanksgiving...let's hope the weather continues...I have galivanting to do!
Thanks for the comment and the hint about HYCCT challenge. I'll have to make a another similiar one because this one is already spoken for. That was fast!
I've done a few for the Hope Challenge this time. Just haven't posted them yet. This is my first time with the Hope challenges. I may only make a few cards, but that's better than none, as in previous years.
I'm happy to report that there are no new termites.
However, since there has been so many termite tubes in the last few years, we're having a barrier done. We'll keep those nasty termites back! They can't have our house. We paid for it, they didn't. It's not free food!
I did have some stamping time. Taking a break and going back for more later!
Pleased to hear there are NO termites Diane and good for you to STOP them before they even think about attacking your house, Diane
I have been out for a nice little trip to the country with a friend and lunch.. was so nice..
I do have to go get some veggies for tomorrow but am really feeling lazy...Need somebody to just tell me to go and get it done ...lol ... ok, ok I felt the nudge...I am off.
Diane, happy for your news, no termites. I am thinking that is a check we should get done on our house. Kind of afraid to do it.
I hope to work on the challenge tonight. My sis is taking care of Mom most of the week-end, so have time.
I have had a fabulous day! In the morning I went to a bazaar put on by the Optimist club. I emptied my wallet there .....got some cute and interesting gifts. Two wooden herons for my flowerbeds, a cloth pocket in which you can make baked potatoes in the microwave, some cute baby booties for my soon to be born granddaughter, and some hand scrub and cream for my DD. Then I spent the whole afternoon in the garden. The weather was so amazing!
