Last night when driving home; I am stopped at a light, about three feet from the guy in front of me, traffic starts moving, we get maybe ten feet, he slams on his brakes, I slam on my brakes the guy behind me kits me, the guy in front of me needs to back up a couple of feet because there is an accident in front of him, he rear ends me. I get out and take a look, no damage. On my merry way I go. Today I head to the US, I am stopped at the lights looking to see if the traffic is clear, an elderly man runs into me. I check for damage, no damage, I tell the gentlemen to have a good day, off to the states I go. Sitting for an hour in the car twice was way to long. Now I am sore. I am really sore and we need to go to lecture. I really don't want to miss it so I better get dressed.
Good morning everyone, today is a new day and I feel like a million dollars, my neck is good, my back is good, only a few bruises but that means the seat belts were doing what they were supposed to. Today I am spending the day doing french, cleaning my craft room and getting ready for the month long challenge.
Good morning Dea! Sorry for all your problems yesterday. I agree with Sharon........ God is watching over you for sure. Each situation could have been a disaster in itself! You must have crashed early, as you are up early this morning! So glad you woke up feeling well! It's been raining here non stop all night! I'm listening to radio and it's still raining in Chicago too and we get our weather pattern from the west, so it'll probably be wet all day.
NancyRuth, the challenge is on post #451. This week's challenge is to make a card/project featuring one of your hobbies. The keyword for this challenge is YCDI202. Challenges get posted every Monday.
A great big welcome and I certainly hope you join us! Lots of chitter-chatter on this thread!
Good morning everyone! Don't know why I am up so early. . Welcome Nancyruth! Guess Ina has you squared a way. I still have this week's challenge to do! Maybe since I am up so early I can work on it before I go to my Mom's. got to get it done before next challenge goes up!
Ina I hope we get some of that rain today.
I must apologize. I usually put a link in my siggy for the newest challenge and I just forgot. I will try to remember to do it for next week. I've been going through pictures all week and scrapbooking. Something I normally do NOT do. I haven't even gotten to the challenge this week. AND I have to go see who's up next to send a reminder. YEAH right, someone needs to send me a reminder lately!!

Welcome to NancyRuth.... Always love to meet up with new ideas and people.
Raining here this morning as well but looks like it will clear. I will be doing more gift cards to day-- and I guess I have to do some housework.. It always seems to get in the way of crafting !!!! Have a great day everyone....
Good morning everyone. Off to church to teach Sunday school to the scary 2 and 3 year olds.
Ina ~ Teaching Sunday School for the kids is awesome! I hope you enjoy it. The kids always teach me things with their sweet, innocent faith and the way they look at life. And they make me laugh.
I will admit the 2 and 3 year olds are a handfull. Not the age I prefer. I really like to teach 1st and 2nd grade. They are out of kindergarten and learning to read & write. We taught that grade for years. Loved it.
Now, we are taking a break from weekly teaching and subbing when needed. Next week, we're teaching 5th grade.
Morning! Yup I am up and it is not even lunch time! LOLOLOLOL
Just waiting for my porridge to be ready then Kerra gets a walk...then I meet a friend for coffee. a cool day outside and overcast...it is supposed to be sunny after the rain yesterday...hhhmmmm I wanted to go to the park with Kerra
Lynn, I don't know if you are anywhere near downtown in Toronto, but there is an art show at the Trinity Belwoods park today.
Sunday school went well today. The kids were excited about tracing their feet on cardstock and cutting them out. Tied them together with ribbon and wrote their name on one and 'my feet can help' on the other.
I should really brush up on my French too......it's been many years since I have used it! I need to learn Spanish too, as 3 of my grandkids have a Hispanic heritage. |My Dutch is still fairly fluent as I do go back and visit my cousins every 3-5 years.......I'm almost due to go again. Maybe next year.
Good morning...oops....good afternoon ladies! I went to Sunday School this morning and really enjoy the class I go to. I used to teach 5th grade in SS and in Kids Club. Now I am enjoying going and learning new things myself!
I finally did a card. I combined challenges (this and the Bible Verse Challenge). I used to collect lighthouses but now have no more space. But I still love them. My bathroom decor is lighthouses and I still have some sitting around, but with my cardmaking crafting, I lost a lot of free space and had to downsize on some. Anyway, my card reflects my hobby of lighthouse collecting over the years. And it reflects a wonderful verse on my source of "light"....BVC13-September-Psalm 27:1 by muscrat - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
so much for that...cat teased dog...dog fought back...fur was flying....no rest for the wicked.
Ok...explain this to me...it was 10c this morning....I am out in a sweatshirt and a light jacket.....someone coming towards me is in full down! I have a hybrid down coat...it's boring brown...does not show dirt or Kerra hair...it is rated to -20c...if they are wearing that coat at this time of year...what are they gonna wear when it gets cold????
I can see the thumbnail Angie and I love it! I'm also glad to see I wasn't the only procrastinator this week! I just uploaded mine a little while ago. I usually have mine done the first day, but I have needed a push lately!
