Ladies I am doing double duty with my card today. Here is my card with the Japanese theme that Dani dared me to do. I am also using it in the MIU challenge since I used the faux silk technique to do it!!

reminding us that sometimes the Boss WILL change his mind!
Uncle Leroy got a job down at the Broom Factory. On his first day the straw boss (Floor supervisor)calls ol' Leroy into his little office and says, "You the new man huh? What is yer name?"
Leroy replied "Leroy"
The straw boss says "I don't call anyone by first names. It breeds familiarity and that leads to breakdown in my Authority. I refer to all employees by last names; Now what is Your Last Name!"
Leroy sort of smiles and says, "Its Darling - Leroy Darling!
The Straw Boss said "Now Leroy the next thing........"
G'morning everyone. Welcome back Kathy. Susan, I not only make a list when I go on a trip, I also make a list on a daily basis. In fact, I make several lists. I make one which is my "Things to do in the stamproom", one for "Things to do for SCS", one for "Things to do in general", one for "Errands to do", one for "Cleaning to do", and of course the "shopping list". Yes, I am the list queen. However, sometimes I need to make a list to remind me to look at my lists. lol j/k The reason for my lists is because my memory is horrible. See Kathy, you aren't the only one. Ok...why is noone giving out dares???? Well I need to remedy this so.....The first 3 people to give out a dare will receive 3 pts!!!! Now, I have cards to look at and then I am going to check out the other threads. Oh I didn't tell ya....I actually spent yesterday in my stamproom. I finished my cards for the Forest. Yay!!!!! Well, everyone you have a great day!!!!!!! Big Huggs!!!
Yes, Lauren, I accept your dare. Jingle bells and ribbon...........Why do I have a bad feeling about not wanting to put mine up next to yours????????? Will have to think on this one. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Donna you will do very well putting your card up with mine, I love your work..... I have just the stamp to use for this, jingle bells santa snow balls.... hahaha
I will have to do my Jingle Bells card another day, not well today and have just stamped and coloured, did not even get the readies for a blog post..... going to lie down for a while...
Lauren, I hope you feel better. I know how it is. I will not be able to do mine today either. This headache is wearing me down. I hate constant headaches.

A young man had just graduated from Harvard and was so excited just thinking about his future. He gets into a taxi and the driver says, "How are you on this lovely day?"
"I'm the Class of 2001, just graduated from Harvard and I just can't wait to go out there and see what the world has in store for me."
The driver looks back to shake the young man's hand and says, "Congratulations, I'm Mitch Class of 1969."
National Respect Day, Everyone I come in contact with today, I will treat them with respect. I try and do that everyday anyway. I feel if I want the same thing, I have to treat others the way I want to be treated
21 more posts and I will no longer be a watercolor wizard! Yay, because I don't do too much with watercolors. Can't wait to see what's next. DON"T TELL ME JANET! I want to be surprised!
I haven't been stamping for a week. I think I forgot how. My wonderful hubby had to do something on the wall right above my stamping area. I asked him if I should cover everything with sheets to keep dust away. My beloved hubby told me there would be no dust and no need to cover anything .... (do you see where this is going??) My fabulous hubby had to change tools and didn't think about the dust this different tool would be creating ..... (now you know where this is going). The job on the wall got done. I appreciated it. Except, ... everything was covered in a fine layer of dust. I should have covered everything just in case. It's taken a week to clean it all off. Just yesterday I could finally sit down and start to create something. I started my Letter J card. It won't be posted until tomorrow, but it'll be there. Dust free.
Another crazy day.. Had to take a GD to the airport and then later today pick up another GD and stay the night with her as her parents are away will be doing that till Thurs.... so not much crafting for a few days...
Hope all the headaches and the the crafting woes are all healed and better by then. Will keep you all in mind.. I have a prayer list too, along with a few other other lists that I have in various places... and not organized at all but in my warped way of thinking they keep me sort of on track...lol
