Hello ladies, I am so sorry for being MIA...I have/had the flu. I am starting to feel better except I stil have a fever and cough. However, I am going to get up and move around today because I have so much to catch up on. I will also be catching up with the chatter. I do hope nobody has the flu; it's horrible. If you do, please make sure you drink LOTS of fluids, ok? I hope you feel better soon. Huggs ladies.
Hi Janet. Susan, I am kind of feeling better. I still have a temp of 102.1 and I am just sweating up a storm. I do not know what to do to shake this thing. I have been sick for 1 solid week. The doctors say the same thing....plenty of liquids and rest. The hospitals are asking people with the flu not to come in there. Any suggestions? I have to pay bills and get stuff done around here...how am I supposed to do that? Ugggg....I will figure something out. Except I truly do not know what to do to shake the fever. So please if you know what I should do please tell me cuz this bites. Lynn, I love your card!!!!! The picture of Kerra is one of the best I've seen. Very nice. Lauren, I also like your card. And Vickie I like your card too. I like all the cards I have look at.
Feel better Dani....I've heard the flu is nasty. I was sick about two weeks ago, but it was just a cold. DH got it too, still just a cold. I hope to avoid the flu.
G'morning everyone. Thank you Kathy and Lynn; I am starting to feel better I just need to keep the temp down and get rid of the cough. I've been told that these are the last two things that seem to hold on. Well ladies, we have only 2 letters to go before we find out who is going to be the winner of the prize package and only 2 letters to go before the end of round 4. I still have only seen one answer as to how y'all want to do round 5; go in ABC order or random; so let's hear from everyone on this okay? Also, if you have any ideas you'd like to share on how to do things a little differently please don't be afraid to speak up okay? Well, I'm not sure if I am the only one on so I guess I will wait and find out.
Here's my two cents. I'd like alpha order. That way if I have a busy time coming up, I could maybe get the next weeks done. But that's just my opinion. I'll play no matter how you do it. If I do the next two letters, I will have had an entry for every card this round!

now really Kathy.... alpha order???? only you my dear, only you....
whatever is ok with me and Kathy really needs 2 votes in this because she is so good to us all, she gives us the information we miss, she keeps us on track and always makes her cards!!!!
Well, alpha order would be great. That way I can get things ready & do things ahead of time if I won't be able to do them that week.
I agree with Kathy!!
That's what I was thinking. I could work ahead if I know I have a busy week coming up. And Yes, I have the last two cards made for this challenge because I know what two letters are left!

Dani, hope you are feeling better.
wow! have we really almost completed the whole alphabet this round?! It's gone by fast! Me, too...to date, I've completed a card for each letter challenge. And, I have no clue which letters remain for this round. Any hints???
My vote is alpha order also for all the reasons already indicated.

Ok, Dani is dummber than a box of rocks today; I totally forgot it is Wednesday and it's time to post a new letter and new points. I am so sorry. Give me one second and I will have it posted for you. I haven't even read what everyone has posted since I last logged in however I will do that after I post the letter. And for everyone that has posted a comment today you will get 5 points for checking in and me not being on my toes. K, be right back....
Ladies,I hope you can see this....I am having a hard time getting anything posted. I keep getting a "database error" and unfortunately I do not know what this means. However, I am going to keep trying. I just wanted y'all to know why it's taking me so long.
Hello all my SCS friends. We are now on week #25 of round 4. Can you believe it's gone by so quickly? Well I am sure you are wondering which of the two letters we will be using this week.....but first; If you are new to the Alphabet Challenge please go and read post #1. Ok ladies; the letter for Week #25 is K
3 ways that you can earn extra points this week.
#1. By putting extra items on your cards. For each additional item you show on your card that starts with the letter K you will receive 1 point.
#2. Go thru the gallery of one of your Alphabet Challenge friends and CASE a card of theirs that has an item on it that begins with the letter K. Share it with everyone and receive an extra 25 points for yourself AND for the person you are casing.
#3 Play along with the "I'm going to take your points game..."
I am more of a tea person than coffee. But never refuse to meet for coffee. Where should be go?
We used to have a British Tea Room here - and it closed a couple of years ago. I LOVED to go to that Tea Room (especially since I was raised in a Scottish family - the cultures for the British Isles tend to love tea!)!! Only other place around here that does that is a store in a small area in town - they have a tea / scone party once a month. I usually know when they have that - where they do have the party is right next door to a bead shop I go to. And they had their party about 1 week ago.
Guess I'll have my Lipton iced tea.

Hi Susan, I am still dealing with the fever going up and down. Right now it's 101.1 about an hour and a half ago it was 98.9. Other than that and the cough I am feeling a lot better; thank you for asking. How are you doing?
I am doing just fine, thanks for asking. Had a doctor appt this morning and have another this afternoon. Everything is OK just routine visits. Oh yah, eye docotr appt. tomorrow morning. Whew, that should do me for another six months, LOL!!!!
What is the health care saying about how to cure you flu??? I will bring chicken soup right over! Lots of protein.

Susan, I just noticed the picture you have for your avetar; Very very very cute!!!!! Kathy and Vickie; you both did an awesome job on getting every letter done for round 4.
EVERYONE: If you would PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you did in deed make a project for each letter of the Alphabet in this round. Thank you.

I am so glad to hear you are feeling well. I would be thrilled to get some of your chicken soup. The clinic isn't being very helpful with this; all they say is to drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest.

I had that dreaded database error message a day or two ago. The gallery even disappeared, but all is normal again, so hang in there! I have my K card done and will post shortly.

Welcome back Marney, does it feel strange to be home again or seems like you never left? It is hard to believe that Christmas was less then a month ago.
