Hello, today is a lazy day, picked up puppy from groomers and a little bookkeeping. That is it. Maybe some card making tonight, have a few ideas for V.
Dani, eat chicken soup, get plenty of rest (if you can) and get better soon.

I'm hiding from the flu too. DH was sick this week, but his was a cold. He is much better now. DS called and said he doesn't feel well. He's on the road ( a trucker) and needs some of mom's TLC.....Guess I need to start the chicken soup and maybe make him a batch of cookies! At this point, I'm not sure if his is a cold like his dad or the flu. Will know more later. Glad he will be home tomorrow. He will probably spend his weekend off in bed if he has the flu. I'm going to be santizing everything!!
He doesn't think it's the flu. I had a cold after Christmas and then DH was sick this week but feeling much better now. So I am thinking he may just have that, but that's bad enough. I will work on the soup.

Oh Chris I will be waving to you too...... enjoy your trip, are you cruising???
I just recently played with these inks and created a FLOWER! I used shiny silver tape found at hardware store, taped it to a piece of cardstock, then punched out some EK retro flowers; embossed the flowers using the cuttlebug swirls embossing folder, then dropped some inks onto the flowers and patted it around with the ink tool; fun fun fun! I'm going to make a card with them and upload tomorrow for the YCDI challenge!!

I have alcohol inks and I need to play with them too! I helped my GD make flowers out of coffee filters and then I sprayed them with my spray inks - the colors are so vivid! I will have to try daubing them on flower petals.
We are cruising from Sydney to Melbourne and then onto New Zealand. We are going with some friends and are vey excited - except for the 22 hour flight!!!

When do you leave? Be careful. I hear there is way too much food on cruises! LOL

You're right - the cruises I've been on have had SO MUCH food!! When we were in the Gulf of Mexico, they had a different culture buffet each day!! It was yummy, but I had to lose some weight when we got back to port!

Yes Janet, lots of Galahs around they are all over the country, and can cause havoc with grain crops, we love them, we feed them too, they can be very noisy too. Love birds
Mornin' to you too. Having my first cup of tea. Probably many more to go. My heart is heavy today. My yoga instructor's daughter has breast and bone cancer. She has a young family. Please say a prayer.
Ok, does it not seem like Christmas was a month ago? What's with that? LOL!
Lynn, your new challenge seems to be going great guns. Congrats! I have a card ready to post, just have to upload.
Don't want to ramble,
Have a beautiful day! Hug someone you love today, if they want one or not!

HUGS all around. So sorry to hear of your instructor's daughter. Will add her to my prayer list. I have my mammo next Thursday. It's always been good, but I never want to take that for granted.
Yes, you are right Kathy never take anything for granted. Good luck!
DD and I went shopping this afternoon and I bought a winter coat that took less then $30.00 out of my pocket. It was on sale and then 30 % off and then a gift card. So, I am very happy about that.

My bargain today was a 6x6 paperpack for $1.19!! It was on clearance at Michaels. I was going to buy Spellbinders Labels 23 but when I took the card to the counter, they told me they were out of those! Don't know why they leave the cards up when there is no product. With three or four hanging, I figured three or four in stock. Rats! I did buy some glue dots on sale and an Inkadinkado stamp called branches. It is made for that new gear thingy, but I will just use it without the gear! And I got a pair of Cutterbee scissors to take to card classes. Have a pair for home and love them.
