Sounds like you are doing your work the correct way...lol while watching tv. I have 8 more pages to go thru before I can fire up the calculator. I am hoping I can get an hours rest in before I have to be up at 6 in the morning. I have my gallery shift then and after that I have to bring the dogs to the groomers and then go to physical therapy. I already broke my promise because I didn't realize it would take me this long to go thru everything...uggg...I am exhausted. But it's my own fault. I will never let the points go again that is for sure.
Hello ladies....well I added up the points. The totals that you will be seeing do not include the letter G or the letter U. I will add the U in as soon as I am done pming with Janet. And of course the points for G will be added in as soon as we are finished with the letter G. I hope y'all don't mind...I will post the points while I am monitoring the gallery. It's usually slow so it shouldn't be a problem. So I will be posting your points in less than 2 hours. I just need to go rest a bit. My leg is so swollen from sitting so long....and my eyes need to rest a bit. So...I shall return. I am sorry I missed my promise by one day. I have been re-organizing my craftroom...started yesterday afternoon and at it non-stop, still have a lot to do and I'm only in "phase one" of the re-organization! I'm finding goodies that I forgot I had, kinda like opening a big Christmas gift! Okay, back at it. Will check in later.

I have to tell y'all, I did a real dumb blonde thing (no offense to the other blondes (yes, I am blonde)) ok...this is what I did...well I should say I didn't do...I forgot to give the chatterbox and her runners ups their points for chatting. I mean I posted them, but I didn't add them in to their point totals. Everyone together now; DUH DANI. I will add them in when I add in the points for the letter U which will be right when I get back from physical therapy. Which by the way, I must go get ready for. Thank you everyone for being so understanding and patient with me and my "I plan to do this and plan to do that", yet my plans always fell thru life. However, I believe my life is getting somewhat back to its normal quiet life. Which y'all know I love!!!! The only things I have going on is physical therapy, Dawn is having surgery next week and her parents will be here, my brother Randy (he says "Hi Lauren") is coming to stay overnight tonight to help me finish decorating my home, I have my dd's baby shower which is out of town this coming weekend (I will be staying overnight there Saturday), and Midghit is getting spayed on the 21st oh and of course Christmas. After all these things happen the only thing I will have to deal with is physical therapy, YAY!!!! Ok girls, gotta go... love yas and hugggs

Oh Lynn now that song will stick in my head. My niece loved that song when she was little....grandma got run over by a reindeer, walking home from our house Christmas eve, You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me and grandpa, we believe!
I am home for a short time catching up with all the chatter here.
I have been staying at my Mom's since Fri night and just been home to get a few things and check in on SCS.
Since we had our snowstorm Fri night. I have stayed with Mom to help her with a few things and to keep her from going outside or trying to drive when it is icy.
I don't want her falling down on the ice. She had a doctor appt this morning.
Even though she has trouble with her back, she sometimes thinks she can do everything she always did.
I have to go to work very early tomorrow and then I go to school to volunteer so I probably won't be back until tomorrow evening.
I hope everyone has a go week.
Dani, don't put so much pressure on yourself about the points. I don't worry about them at all. I am only here for the chatting, the fun and the challenges.

Now I am going to think of "Grandma got run over by a reindeer". LOL
And it seems every year that my chorus goes to one Assisted Living Facility to sing (and we'll be ther next week!) we have one person request us to sing that song about Grandma running over the reindeer. Needless to say, we don't sing that song!

Jeri, you're a good daughter. My mom is the same way. She thinks she can still do it all. I fear I will be the same way. I am already thinking before I do things....don't want to break a hip. How would I help anyone then?? LOL
Hello ladies, I just wanted to let you know that I have to wait to post the U points. I need to discuss it further with Janet and then I can post them. So for now....I shall go and put a heat pack on my hip like the therapist told me to. I will check in tomorrow and see where we are at.

I haven't been on lately - lots to do with Christmas and work! I need to chat lots to keep up with Lauren!! I also have to finish my Christmas cards - I got one today from someone who commented on my lovely handmade card! Yes, it is worth all the work!!

Most people are very impressed with homemade or handmade cards. I hate those cheap ones, thin as anything and no greeting inside, 10 for $1 and it shows.
But I suppose it is the thought really.

Hello Ladies--you might have noticed that Jeanette has been absent from SCS since last Friday. She wanted me to tell all of you she is fine--however there are some health issues for some of her family members that she is dealing with. She is not sure when she will be back to post or share her Weird Holidays............... but she misses everyone and will be back soon. If you have can send a prayer her way, that would be wonderful.
