G'morning ladies. I am here to do my gallery shift. It starts at 6 a.m central time and ends at 8 a.m. If I don't feel like I need to go lay down afterwards I will come in here straight away. If I feel I need to lay down I only lay down for 2 hours max (that's only if I sleep) then I will be getting up and coming out here. I figure I will get started on adding things up and when I feel my eyes need a break I will run to the postoffice then come home and make the calls I need to make. Then I can come back out here and finish without any distractions. Yay!!!! It's about flippin time!!!! Lauren my dear, you are soooo right, we don't want me missing anything. Thank you for telling me what to watch for. I will try very hard not to miss anything. In fact, I am going all the way from the beginning just to make sure nothing was missed. I have to go...I need to start approving cards that people want to upload. I shall return. Huggs

with a reminder to appreciate emergency personnel!
Part of my job as a 911 dispatcher is to interrogate callers who are in various states of panic so I can send the appropriate emergency equipment. One day a woman called to say that a family member had fallen and needed to go to a hospital.
After finding out where she lived and assuring her that the paramedics would arrive shortly, I asked her, "Do you know what caused the fall?"
Yep.... I will ramsack Yvonne's craft room for sure!!!!! She sounds like she has her crafting projects lined up and will be have so much to do..I can just GO WILD hee heeee!!!!
I do have to skype her though just so I can hear her Donald Duck impression...
I am out and about today but so not much crafting today.....Hope you all have a greta day!
Ladies, I am here working on adding up points. I slept longer than I thought I would. If you want to tell me something or if you have a question for me please pm me. This way I don't have to keep coming back to the first page. Once I am ready to take a break (if I need to) I will reply to recent posts. huggs I also have an announcement to make: Our dear Diane (DCinkit) will not be playing along for the rest of this round. Her health is at a point where she needs to rest as much as possible. I told her I hope she recovers 100% and that she will stay in prayers. Dani, I was wondering where Diane was, thanks for telling us! I thought maybe she was on vacation and I missed the post. So sad to hear it is health related....I have her address and will get a card out to her to let her know she is missed.

Ok ladies...I need to go pick up my granddaughter so I may as well make my trip to the post office. Then when I get back I will make my phone calls and then come back in here and continue what I was doing. Up to the point where I am right now I must say Lauren, Donna and Lynn have the gift to gab the most. Way to go ladies. Of course this could change because I am only on the second week of the chat contest. Huggs

Well,she isn't done counting yet and I wasn't here for almost 2 weeks. So........I am pretty sure I am out of the race. But it will be neck and neck between, Lauren, Lynn and Kathy (who thinks she is innocent).
Oh it was gorgeous. Saw the hills of Tennesee, Saw the cotton fields of Georgia and the moss covered trees. Even got some of the cotton, don't worry, I didn't go onto anyones property. I picked it up off the side of the road. But it is something to see when the fields are full. Sad to say tho, my sister will be moving to Nebraska after the first of the year. Her home is just beautiful. Huge back yard and it has a seperate building that they used as a workout room and I was going to have it for my crafting room Not any more......Waaaaaaa! I have not seen any of the Plantations in Georgia because you know that during the Civil War most of Georgia was burned to the ground. But it is neat to see where the roads were that led up to the huge plantations. THey just now have new homes built there now. I took pics but really they would be boring for someone else to look at, KWIM? A friend of mine collects rocks from different states and so I got her one from Georgia, Tennesee and Kentucky. Why rock?........I have noooooo idea but I got her one. Other than that, it was just a relaxing peacful visit with family. A stress reliever per se.
I still have a brother and sister in law that live in Virginia and every time I go there, we visit the Cival War sites and Plantation homes because they love that kind of stuff too. I love anything to do with Cival War and Plantations. I wish I could find some really good books from women that kept diaries way back then. It facinates me. I could go on and on but I don't want to bore you. Sorry !!!!!!!!!!!

Every card in round 4??? I thought someone said extra points for every card in alpha420?? I don't think I will be able to go back and comment on all the beautiful cards at this point. That's 20 letters and probably 10 or more cards per letter!
I haven't gotten to do an O card - been busy finishing up Christmas cards. I have some ornaments I should use and post for the O card. Then tomorrow it will be a new letter! Wow - time flies in December!!!

Oh I am with Kathy, I thought it was just for the letter "O" also. I DO NOT have the time to go back and see if I missed any. If I did, I already know that everyone on here makes BEAUTIFUL cards. Sorry if I did miss commenting on someones but I did get all the "O" ones done.

Remember ladies...it does not have to be a card that you post for the week's letter. Well, I shall return after my gallery shift with a new letter for you. I will be working on the points some today. I believe I am on page 35. I am going to try to get everything done that keeps me from the computer between today and Friday; for example: making phones calls galore for Ronald, taking the dog to the vet, decorating for Christmas and going to the doctor tomorrow; this way I have nothing to do Saturday except my two gallery shifts and nothing at all to do on Sunday therefore I will be able to be in the Alphabet Challenge all day. That should allow me to finish and have totals for everybody. So please hang in there ladies, I am working on it. Ok..back to my gallery shift. Huggs!!!!
Ladies, I am getting ready to post this week's letter. Please feel free to post once the letter is posted. I am not going to put the wall of fame up just yet. I want to wait until I have everything counted and added up. And since I am thinking it will probably be Sunday when I get it all done I may as well post them as a regular post and then put them in a Wall of Fame for the next letter. Does that make sense?? Believe it or not ladies we are on week #21 of the Alphabet Challenge (Round 4). I have another letter for everyone to work on; would you like to know what the letter is??? Huh??? Well would ya???
The letter for week #21 is: The letter "G".
You will have 3 ways to earn points this week. 1. All DARE POINTS will be TRIPLED. (Meaning if you dare someone you both will get 3 points for the dare instead of 1.) 2. Comment on EVERY card in this week's gallery and receive 5 points. 3. Go into another players gallery (it MUST be a player that posted something in a ROUND 4 gallery); choose one of their cards and remake it .... only you HAVE to add an item that starts with the letter G. You will receive 10 points for this. THIS IS AN EXTRA BONUS AND CANNOT BE USED AS YOUR REGULAR WEEKLY CARD.
