OK - you get the challenge on Wednesday (let's name it week 1) - then you get your next challenge the following wednesday. BUT - the week 1 challenge is not due until the Friday after that challenge! (we have 9 days to complete the challenge). NO - it's not just 2 days!!!
Like I said - it may have been just 1 week that we did that, but the length of time to finish challenge may have stayed until Friday. I still try to get mine done by Wednesday!

That's kinda what I also thought Janet. Gotta have a "deadline" for the weekly points accumulation, so that makes sense. I also try to have done by the time the next letter is announced. I better get busy on Susan's challenge...I have the idea, just need to clear a spot on my craft table to do it! LOL
I still have to do Lauren's dare was going to start it last night and then someone sent me a message saying they wanted to order 2 tutu's for Christmas. So, now I have to get busy with those. Plus I still have to make another necklace for my sister as a gift for a friend of hers. And on top of all of that............I can't even find my craft room. I know where it used to be, but when I open the door, it looks like a tornado went thru it. LOL

SO, I dare everyone to create a card using one of the Os from the O list I posted a few days ago! I must also create a card from that list, too! Who accepts my DARE?!

I don't think I posted that I accept Lauren's ending with O dare and Susan's open differently dare.
Have already uploaded card using Lauren's O list!
Working on Susan's dare for a card that opens differently; working on Lauren's dare for a card ending in O; working on my dare for a card from my O list! Whew! Several dares to keep track of this week! And, am keeping up with my dare to comment on everyone's O cards (except my own)!
This one has a word ending in O (igloo) for Dani's dare and it also has an outdoor scene (Vickie's dare to make a card using a word from her list-OUTDOOR)

Here's my card for Susan's dare to create a card that opens differently and using a word from my list = orange; and other O words: Owl in the sentiment and Owl image, and organza ribbon.
Vickie, I believe you just completed Laurens dare also. She had a list of animals that begin with "O" So, I think you have them all completed. If I am wrong, I am sure Miss Lauren will correct me. HeHe
I'm so lost on all the dares on this letter I'll be lucky to just get my O card done! I haven't missed a letter yet, so I want to get an O card done, so maybe tomorrow.

Still confused! Was the ending in O challenge from Dani to Lauren, or was it from Lauren to everyone?!! Oh gee, it doesn't matter, I'm going to make one ending in O anyway, tomorrow which is Tuesday in my time zone!
Oh my you guys have left me way back in the dust but that is OK> I got my 2 parcels away and most of my cards... I now have to find my craft room and then start figuring out what to take on my trip so will be just in and out when ever.... I leave in a week and still have a few things to create.. I want to do some stocking stuffers etc but may leave them flat and put themtogether there.... easier packing. Love all your creations..... hope I didn't miss any.

It was Dani who wanted the Letter O ending word, loads of ppoints for that one and 2 points for each additional thing ending in O

Oh Marion, just swan in and use Yvonne's things in her craft room, she has heaps and will love you using it all.
I hope you have a wonderful time away, hope you can get online from time to time and get Yvonne into the habit of calling in to see us, she must be very busy as she is not even blogging and as much as I love that rosy cheeked little fellow on her blog, I would love to see something new.

Oh my goodness, maybe we should not have taken the week off, this is way too confussing. Isn't it fun. Feel the breeze, that is me running into everyone's craft room and taking all the of their Christmas stuff and giving it to Marney. She needs all of it because she is going on trip and she can't find her room.

Christmas Card Challenge

Ladies, I sooo apologize. I have been suffering thru Murphy's Law. After everything finally settles and I have nothing but time to devote to my baby (This Challenge) and to my bestest SCS friends (y'all) my home started falling apart. First the fireplace took a **** and smoked us out of here. Then when we finally could come back this morning the furnace takes a ****. So I had no furnace and I was afraid to start a fire in the fire places. Only the back one went heywire, however, I was afraid of both of them. I didn't get to get out here at all yesterday due to the fireplace (we thought the house was on fire because of all the smoke but it wasn't thank you Jesus!!!) then today I was able to do my morning gallery and then the furnace went. We went and stayed at a friends place but they don't have internet. So...Ron finally called me back and told me what to do. I now have both the fireplaces and the furnace back. I told Dawn that tomorrow I would run to the postoffice and make the phone calls that I need to make but other than my gallery shifts I AM WORKING ON MY BABY. In fact my exact words were "Tomorrow other than the postoffice and the phone calls I have to make I am doing nothing but focusing on my baby, the Alphabet Challenge. If the house catches on fire or if we end up frozen please make sure when you pull me out you bring my laptop because I am not letting ANYTHING keep me away tomorrow. I have been promising and promising to get these points posted and because I keep breaking my promises I am going to lose all my players. And besides you they are my bestest friends. I can't afford to lose them. So please do me a huge favor and do the Walmart run." And that was that. So ladies.....I am going to swear to God(I wish y'all could see that I do have my hand reaching toward God. Well, I had to take it down to type) Ok..I just put my hand back up and said " I not only promise my friends but I am also making a promise to God and to myself that I will spend whatever amount of time I need to so that the Alphabet Challenge is back up to where it should be! I love this challenge but most importantly I love these ladies. Lord please keep them safe and healthy." So ladies...I will be back after my gallery shift tomorrow...or if I have insomnia again tonight...I will be back later. Lauren , hun...didn't you see the other challenges I put up to earn more points? The one about making a card with something that ends in O? Or do you want ways to earn points that has nothing to do with making a card? I will do whatever y'all want. Now I am going to get off of here and try to get some sleep so that I can stay out here after my gallery shift in the morning. I love yas. Big Huggs!!!
Ladies, when I come back out here I will make a list of who dare whom to do what for the letter O. I see that alot of you are saying you are confused. I did say that making a card with an item that ended in O would earn you more points.
Dani, it nevers rains but pours. Sorry to hear about your troubles and thank you for your prayers. How are you feeling? Don't worry about us, in my opinion, we can wait for the points, we still have 4 more letters to go.

Hello lovely ladies!! I'm flying through to say a quick hello!! I was at home today, sick in bed with a stupid winter cold.....I really hate colds....lol. And I have no voice.....yup, that's right Lynn, i sound like Donald Duck again....lol!! I have so much to get finished in the next few weeks!! One of the girls I work with has me making her three chipboard albums in decorative boxes to give to her sisters for Christmas. I have one completed and the second one half done. The good thing is she's paying me to make them for her!! And another one of the girls wants a couple of smash book/photo albums too, so I have those to make as well. So I really didn't need this cold!! I'm soooooo happy my mommy is coming for a visit!!! I can't wait to see her. <3
haha Miss Yvonne called in cos I told her Mommy to use her crafting things, so she is telling us how much of it she is using, there will not be any left for Marion to use.....
Love that your Mommy is coming to visit, will be fun you will talk all night and laugh and be like teenagers on a sleepover!!! Don't get too tired now!!
