Jeanette that card is so sweet.... I do want to case it if it is ok with you my little GGS would love it....... I don't have the punch but i think I could improvise....I sometimes make up little story books well.. cards with more than one page and he( the frog) would be perfect.
Janet - waiting for your card..
Take a bucket of ice in there with you and you have the perfect cooler. By the way, do you have any caves around you? Their temperatures are always the same and usually in the 50's which sounds pretty good to me. The reason I thought about caves is my friend just got back from a trip to Luray Caverns in Virginia. She had some awesome pictures and I may take a trip there yet this summer.
I went to Luray Caverns when I was a teenager. I remember there is an organ that plays on the stalagmites & stalagtites. I enjoyed the trip.

It's been a throughly busy week. Three kids registering for three different schools has kept my thoughts elsewhere. Also, our youngest DD turned 13 yesterday and we had a party. I haven't stamped or even been at my craft table in a week. Too long! Today I finally put together a Letter T card.
My card features tall Tess dressed in tangerine & teal toting a tall tea and a grande latte to thank her totally thoughtful & tiny friend, Tilly. What a twosome!
I think I'll go see what you've been creating for Letter T.
So happy we are on a new page, The creepy bug gave me the hibbie-gibbies every time I saw it.
We are in a severe thunderstorm watch here. Keeping our eyes on the skies.
Have a wonderful evening!!!!!

Kathy, I love Virginia. I have a brother and SIL that live there. (they are the ones that just lost one of their sons). I have been there a few times and just LOVE the history about it. Love all the civil war sites and the plantation homes. Beautiful.
Love all the chatter everyone.
Kathy you are so lucky your mom lives up behind you. My mom lives on the other side of town and with me not able to drive just yet I can't get up to see here much. I have another doctors appt in late August and then he will (he better anyway) sign off on me being able to drive again.

I've never been to Virginia. I went west years ago, as far as Tucson but that was in the 70's. I don't like traveling but I would really like to see that cave and DH has said he would take a day to go, so I have to save a few bucks for gas and entrance fees. $24 per person! I figure I could pack us some food to save money, so it would be a tank or more of gas and $50 plus I have to have money for the gift shop. There is a gift shop, right? Penns Cave in PA has the best gift shop. Sometimes I go way out there just to shop!
I love having mom and dad so close....DH has helped them so much over the years and I can drive them to appts. now. Dad doesnt drive much and mom is getting that she doesnt' like to drive much either.
Kathy you should be on page 13 also. Unless someone doesn't like you and doesn't want you to read any of their posts. LOLOLOL JK. I love you, you know it

The spider is now officially gone! Yahoo.....I don't mind the tiny little ones but those big hairy ones are gross! I remember one time in the early 80's (before kids) we had another couple visiting and I was making a salad in the kitchen. I looked down for some reason and there on my boob was a huge black spider. I let out a blood curdling scream and they all thought I cut myself with the knife I was using! NOPE, just a hairy ugly black spider!
Just checking in - we will have temps in the 90's all week, but I like it hot! It feels like summer and we are lucky enough to live on a lake so we can cool off whenever we want. It also helps bring visitors to us - our next batch will arrive on Sunday. They are crafters too, so I plan on getting out my supplies and letting them go wild!

Good Morning Friends!
I hope you have a Totally Terrific Tuesday!
... ♥ ... ♥ ... ♥ ...
Today is Tell An Old Joke Day, National Drive-Thru Day, Amelia Earhart Day, Cousins Day, Mormon Pioneer Day, Blow Your Mind Day,
and Pop a Wheelie Day.
Enjoy your holiday of choice today!
Oh… and if you know an old joke, please post it here in the thread!
Please excuse the interruption, but here’s a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
showing us that Doctors Stamp, Too!
A man and his wife were making their first doctor visit prior to the birth of their first child. After everything checked out, the doctor took a small stamp and stamped the wife's stomach with indelible ink.
The couple was curious about what the stamp was for, so when they got home, the husband dug out his magnifying glass to try to see what it was. In very tiny letters, the stamp said, "When you can read this, come back and see me."
G'morning everyone. Today's color is Teal. Jeanette and Donna, thank you. In fact, I came out here to let everyone know I may not be on til later on today. I have been up for 24 hours now and I need sleep. I started out not being able to sleep because of pain. Then at about 2:30 3:00 this morning I got spooked pretty bad because someone was pounding at my basement door. The reason it spooked me is everyone that knows me knows they need to call if they are coming over at a strange time plus I live in the country...not that that makes a difference...it's just strange is all. Anyway...I pulled out my gun, called Dawn at work, and walked with Lucky as we turned on all the lights in the house. He barked like a mad dog. Shortly after I turned on the lights the pounding stopped. There is no way for me to see the basement door from inside the house so I could not even look to see if I knew who it was. After all that happened then it started storming. Which the thunder makes Lucky a nervous wreck so I was comforting him all night. And of course my pain is thru the roof right now. On a good note: WE GOT RAIN!!! So ladies, I am going to go lay down for a while and hopefully get a few hours of sleep in. I will come back out later and try to catch up with everything. So y'all have a good morning. Huggs.
Lots to catch up on today... I always come in when everyone has gone off to start their day... Hope that your headache settles down Donna..
Dani- what a night you had!!!!!!!.. Have a good rest today and "Yah" for the rain....
And it says there is a Cousins Day.. I have been thinking of a couple of mine lately and I do have to give them a call so maybe today is the day!!!! Why I don't make the call when I think of it is beyond me.....!!!!!!
I love the turkey.. He is trying to look innicent but wonders if it is going to work????? I love him..... where did you find him? I would love to put out another dare but can't think of another T word.... good we get a new letter tomorrow....
Good afternoon all you Alphagirls. Thank you everyone for all of your kind words. I haven't had any sleep yet...was having a bad pain day. My pain seems to be setteling down, Thank you Jesus!!! And thank those of you that said prayers. Diane & Janet I love your cards. So far we have total of 16 cards made. I know I have a couple more dares to add to the Wall of Fame. I will get to that after I catch up in the threads and read my pm's. I have a question Some of you participated in the Secret Santa Gift Exchange last year. Is anyone interested in doing that again this year? I've decided I am only going to do Christmas...doing all the other holidays was a bit much. If you are interested I need to get it up and running because this time I want to draw names a bit earlier. Maybe end of Oct. Well y'all think about it and let me know. For those of you that didn't participate in it..what we did was everyone that wanted to participate signed up and I drew a Secret Santa name for everyone. Your secret Santa let you know who she was when she sent your gift to you. I believe we had a suggested limit of $20. It was a lot of fun. I will try to find the post from last year that described how it worked. My daughter said if we do it again she will do the same thing she did last year so that I don't know who my secret Santa is. How sweet of her.
Still no luck with that bugger possum. I heard noise on the porch and looked out at midnight. There he was looking up at me. I grabbed the camera, but he was scared by the flash and ran inside the little kitty house! Then he came back out and when I took the second picture, he ran down the steps. He stood there right BESIDE the trap but the darn little bugger wouldn't go in. He is much smarter than I gave him credit! LOL
Janet, I love your turkey card. Please pm your address and I can mail it off tomorrow! Thanks for accepting the dare.
Dani- sure hope the sandman comes your way soon.
Kathy- maybe you could set the trap in the kitty house, just saying - who does that critter think he is?
