nooo even better...I NEED kathy to move closer so she can help me!!!!
That would be sooo cool, but then do you think we'd really get anything done?? We'd be galavanting and corupting and having so much fun! And then I could do Willow Creek too! LOL
Pleased to see you back Susan and ready to craft.....Waiting to see what you come up with....
Lynn and Kathy together ----- ummmmmm We would ahve to have two naughty corners.... lol.. would be interesting though!!!
Sorry Kathy, I did not read the the posts correctly. Maybe we could build a bigger corner with lots of crafting stuff. Maybe I should be in the corner for not reading correctly! I want some glitter glue and some glitter stickers and some glitter so I can play in the corner.

Susan, what was the post on the eggshells this week? I must have missed it and erased it. Darn it I am in love with the eggshell technique, I can't stop making things and I don't even eat eggs
Oh and Lynn, good luck finding a man that likes to do housework, if you do......please share!!!
Donna, it is the SCS Weekly Inkling, I believe it is the same as Lauren's post, soaking with bleach. What do you do with the eggs? i would love to see some more of your creations. PPPPLLLLLEASEEEE!!!

Donna makes nice jewellery pieces out of her eggshells, I only make old card embellies.... Donna is hiding her talents under the guise of pretending to be not too clever, but I am right onto her...... she is talented and does great work, but she just won't admit it....
But I KNOW you Donna, you can't put it over on me!!!!!
Thanks Lauren. I am my biggest critic. You guys are the only ones I share with. I'm not comfortable showing my things to anyone else. But really, if I did work like you, I would show it to the world. I learned from the best
Chris - I'll try to get a card done - I have many others to do for swaps!
Donna - polymer caly may look cheap - but you need to get a thermometer to PRECISELY measure the temp of the Oven (like a toaster oven) you get JUST FOR CLAY USE , you need to use the oven in an open area due to some odors, and you will need to have at least 1 pasta machine to blend / thin out the clay. PLUS - small cookie cutters of different shapes. You may want to read up on doing things with polymer clay, or go to a bead show to see it used or take a class. Or if you have a local bead society, ask them.
I've made jewelry & beads from polymer clay in classes @ bead shows. And the bead society will be having people come to a meeting to talk about polymer clay use.

Well, that answers my question. Thanks Janet. I don't have the room for all that extra stuff nor the money to buy it. Plus I watch my two grandsons daily so I would not want them smelling the fumes on a daily basis.
Janet that was great info, and I have no idea what that clay is. Sounds too stinky for me.
Felt sooo good to sleep in my own bed. So what kind of mischief can we get into today. Oh, I know, lets go to Donna's, gather all her beautiful eggshell creations and show them to everyone we see. Who is with me?
Have a happy day!

I know the feeling!! It felt SO good to sleep in a room that wasn't moving constantly. I still have some "sea legs" from being at sea for a week - haven't gotten used to being back on dry land constantly (yet!).
Hmm... what can we do?? I would love to see Donna's eggshell creations!!
Oh and BTW - lets make a room in the shape of an octogon (8 sided) so we'll have 'nuff corners to have people sit in!! LOL!

Oh Oh let's get into trouble...yup...a trip to Donna's to bring her coffee and snacks while we ohhh and ahh over her eggshells! I'm in...is Kerra allowed to come to!
You ladies are toooooo funny But you are also welcome to come anytime you want.
I like the idea of an octagon shaped room too Wouldn't it be great to all get together and craft for one whole week together. Ohhhh, there I go dreaming again.
I am waiting for some of my things to dry but I will try and take pics before the sun goes down and post them. Thanks for the complements ladies
OK I made 2 H cards - one is a silly one for my 4yr old GD - Hazel. I'll have her name all the H things on it - I used an H, hanger, house, hotdog, helicopter, hat and heart with Hugs on it. that seems like 7 extra things for 7 extra points!!

My other H card is for a male friend so i made it plain. I did use 2 herringbone patterns, buttons with Holes, and a Hello - so that is 3 extra things for 3 points!! Whoo hoo - big points for me! LOL!!

Chris ~ Great cards for Letter H. I love the fanciful one you made for your GD. She will love it, as it is all about HER. What a clever idea. I may HAVE to use that idea for a niece and nephew. The other one for your friend is a nice masculine card. It's so creative HOW you worked it for letter H. Good job! TFS
Well, here are a couple of my eggshell items. One is a pendent and the other is a pin. The bracelet is just a beaded bracelet. The other one I am working on (eggshell) is not dry yet so I couldn't take a pic of that. But being as it is Sunday, you won't be able to see them until tomorrow. Sorry
I tried to upload my card into the gallery but it doesn't show up! I waited 2 hours and checked again - and can't find it! where did it go? or what am I doing wrong?? I used to be able to upload cards - can't figure out why now it doesn't work! anybody have any ideas???
