That daughter of mine always gets me going on something new to figure out.. O well I It keeps me wondering what every body is up to.. Evening Ladies!!! Just home from work and starting a long weekend! I don't have to work tomorrow.... Whew! this three day work week was a killer! LOL!!! ;P

LOL!!! I don't work tomorrow either, but I have to work Saturday morning for a few hours!! YUCK!! But it's hard to fuss about this short week. Then we work all week next week, but the next week is just a 4 day week due to Martin Luther King Jr Day. Do you have that in Canada????
Just so you all know the aeroplane was from a colouring page, I stole it.... and the Antarctic ice is hand drawn by moi!!!!
My card came from the story I wrote, my mind just goes to A is for Angels and I could not go any further so I did a search for 'sentences to learn letters' and there was the angel in an aeroplane, so I went from there..... and Antarctica is closer than the Arctic and not too much wildlife.
So I am not so imaginative as you all think, just that I can google better than most!!!
I am bored and lonely this afternoon, in need of a nana nap, but not going to have one. So here for a while I am talking to myself, just like I do in my craft room. Situation normal.
I have made 2 cards today, a very girlie birthday card with all the trimmings, and a Penny Black one for a swap... it is supposed to be pastel colours, it is hot pink and moss green, oh well they are spring colours I suppose.... just not pastel.... have to think about this a while, thought I was getting in a bit early.
Oh well I might go and blog, that will take some time up, it is only 3.30pm and I want it to be dinner time, I am hungry (from boredom/restlessness I think)... ok afternoon tea, cheese and bikkies, no wine, doing enough of that anyway!!

Hello ladies, I don't have time right now to catch up on the chatter. Uggg... I will have to catch up when I come back on either later tonight or tomorrow. Which will be alot of reading but that's okay I love it!!!! I am leaving here shortly to go on what I am calling a vacation. I am going to go with my friend to stay at her moms. It's only 2 and half hours from me and we don't have anything spectacular planned due to money, however, anytime I can get away from housework and whatnot it's a vacation for me. hehe...So....everyone continue to chatter and have fun. I will check back in as soon as I can. I am taking my laptop with me, sooo....I shall return. Big Huggs to all.

I understand Tony's funny words, we have funny words here that I can't type on SCS because they come out all stars!!!
We seem to be more in tune with the Poms (no offence Tony) than the US, the US is very European in so many ways, so much German descent I think. Whereas the Europeans didn't really come to Australia until after WW2.
