Oh... Vikki is having shoulder surgery. She tried to dislocate it a few weeks ago. Tip: Use caution when reaching over to the back seat after your purse LOL
Actaully I over extended it it the night b4 at work.. the dumpster lid was falling and I over reacted, over reached and tore my rotator (the doc says Hyper Extended)

the next morning I pulled my purse form the back seat and it burned so bad I thought I was sun burnt and ripping! LOL

a month later i had an MRI... now I get to spend the next 6-8 weeks out on medical leave.
Amazingly after all the horror stories i've heard work comp is actaully not horrible! LOL

All should be fine.. I have to be there at 11 am and schedule for surgery at 1, going home as soon as I wake up and go potty I guess... works for me! LOL

You "need" to make the Teapot cards, so it's a needed card for that month, right?
Just like BRAK cards, you need to make them they go on your count each month right?

Just my 2 cents there!

Well surgery time was changed, I have to be there at 10. It's snowing like mad out too! YUCK! There was a really nasty looking accident right at the exit ramp for 23 on my way home tonight.... hoping every one involved is okay. The truck was upside down in the ditch with no rear axle

I am home, trying to catch up on everything and clean my room, so if I want something I can tell Clint how to find it!

Since it's a card you NEED to mail to someone within the time frame of that month, then yes, it counts. It's a card you need... right? Hope that helps.

Default Update on VikkiJo

Surgery went well. She should be on her way home now. DH promises to keep me updated until she is able to. Isn't it amazing how they could do this and send her home the same day!

Arrow Time to Look to February!

Note the use of the icon in the subject line. I'll use that when posting something you want to make sure and read.

Everyone has done awesome kicking of 2012 and getting their January cards done and out the door.

Now is the time to look at your February calendar and begin forming a plan!
How many do you need?

How do you need to space them out over the next 2-3 weeks to insure they're made and mailed on time?

Time to make a plan!

Looks like a good idea. I currently have my stash in a tin that isn't exactly the right size. I'm not much for "altered" projects, but this might fun AND useful. Thanks for the link.

Oops! I clicked on the wrong post to reply. I was actually replying to Viikkijo's at 295 - about the snack box card organizers.

I think Kelly is giving us a digital "kick in the keester".
I need it! I have so many birthdays in February and I like to make lots of Valentines for my friends. As soon as I get supper done and cleaned up, I'm spending the rest of the evening in my craft room.

Hey, if your like-minded buds can't give you the swift kick, who else has the right?

How'd you do on the cleaning?

Happy Monday, ladies!

I'm headed over the the AOCC12 January thread to leave love then off to start my writing day.

Over the weekend I found an old 7x9 dayplanner I used to use that already had my BD lists formatted. Getting that sinus infection in January put me behind in getting that done. Now I don't have to! Just need to handwrite in for now any new people I've added to my list. I'll retype it when I have a few minutes so it will be ready for next year.

I did notice I need 6 birthday cards for February - most of them mid month or later but I'll get them done hopefully next weekend. Right now my focus is on trying to finish the 1st draft of this new novel. I'm writing about 9 hours a day. I craft early morning, business up til about noon then write the rest of the day.

But I'm still getting my crafting in. Writing is my 'day' job. Hope everyone is making progress on their January cards!

No books published yet. I do occasionally have 'The Last Word' in Polymer Cafe Magazine if you carry it. In fact, I'll be in the Feb/ March issue out in the next week or so and then again in the April May issue (just got that assignment from my editor this morning)

I write contemporary romance mostly, though my contest prize money has come from paranormal short stories. Right now, I'm working on a story for an epublisher - The Wild Rose Press set in TX.

Arrow Important Note about Prizes

With all the hoopla over the 'image swap' issues, I just wanted to let you guys know the prize envelopes will NOT contain images. I have devised a new plan, but my new plan means I will not have all 12 months' envelopes ready at the beginning of the year, like I did for CCC11.

I will be doing them month-by-month for the next couple/ three rounds until I get everything in place.

I just wanted to give you a heads up and thank you in advance for your patience.

I wish I lived close to you. I'd love to read something you wrote. We don't carry the Polymer Cafe Magazine. Paranormal seems to be big lately. Good luck with the book.

Bummers you don't carry Polymer Cafe magazine. Sometimes the book stores and Michaels carry it. I've even picked it up at JoAnns. I say visit a book store and browse LOL The Last Word is most always the last page to the inside back cover... thus The Last Word hehe

Mom always said I had to have the last word... now they pay me to!

Here is another card for January. I am mailing it to our Teaparty Destination this week.
