I'm off to a 'Bo Bunny' card making class today. It's a 2 hour drive from here (in London) at scrappingreatdeals. The store where it is being held is a large scrapbooking store, so I will probably be spending $$, as she has Marianne and Cheery Lynn dies. Hopefully, the drive won't be bad, as it snowed 2 inches during the night, with a bit more to come. My friend, MelissaL on SCS will probably offer to drive as she has a big heavy Buick, and I only have a little bitty Toyota Echo.
So sorry to hear of all the bad happenings....I missed a lot by not being on-line last evening!
Angie, by any stretch of the imagination, is the other soldier who was in the vehicle in Afghanistan named Timothy? A son of a missionary family that our church supports was seriously injured in an IED blast. He was airlifted out to Germany and is now at Walter Reid Hospital. He lost both his legs and severely inured his right arm. People all over the world have been praying for him and he is doing amazingly well, considering the circumstances. There is a facebook group page dedicated to him called 'Praying for Timothy Donley'. The family appreciates lots and lots of prayers. If you feel so inclined, please pray for him. He has a long road of recovery ahead, both physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thanks ladies.
Ina that may not be as big of a stretch as you might think. The young man that was with Quinton did not lose his legs. He did break vertibrea in his back, so paralysis is a possibility. When I talked to my sis Wednesday she told me that this is really weighing on his mind because a good friend of his lost both legs to an IED a couple of weeks ago. There is every posibility that Timothy could be that friend. Whether or not he turns out to be Quinton's friend, I'm praying for Timothy.
So sorry to hear of the tragedies occurring this past week. I can't imagine losing a child, yet I hate to think of the sadness my passing will blanket my granddaughter. Neither way is an easy way... just is.

I tried ebay, WOW they've really changed things. now you do not get paid until the item is receied by the buyer, and confirmed. Then they have a return policy, and onc ehte retunr policy term is up then the money is released.
I planned to pay for the shipping with the sale.
Thought about Craigs List, but just didn't go there!
Just a quick reminder you only have 11 days left of February. Now is the time to make sure you have cards that might be needed for next week and for the 1st full week of March.
Also... do you send St. Patrick's Day cards to anyone? You'll need to think about those, too.
JoAnns carries Studio 112 (same as Studio G) and they have some cute St. Patty's and Easter stamps out.
Had planned on it. Wound up spending time with hubby instead. I don't realize how much I really miss him those 3 weeks until he's back home. LOL
I'm going to miss the main event as well. Have a writers conference out of state that weekend.
Yeah, they are kinda nice to have around, aren't they! Sorry to hear you will miss the main, too, but life happens! Hope you have a great time at your conference!
We had a wonderful time making the Bo Bunny cards.....made a cute little card bag and 6 cards with instructions for two more. But the best part of all was browsing Sheila's store............wow! I spent $112.26! Gorgeous card examples on a table at the doorway and oh so much to choose from. She has a number of Cheery Lynn and Marianne dies....I could just take them all home, but had to limit myself! The thing is....I left my boots there, so now I have to go back and pick them up. Fortunately, two of my brothers live in a nearby town, so I won't make the 2 hour trip just for that. Angie, it's quite possible that Timothy is Quinton's friend....his mishap was on February 9. He is conscious now, but having lots of pain. Thanks for praying. There is a prayer and fasting event for him tomorrow, set up by friends on facebook. I am joining. BTW, Timothy is from Pennsylvania, even though we are in Canada. His mother is originally from around here (I think) so that is how our church became their sponsors.

I do have to admit i love Chocolate Chip Mint ice cream!
I have a huge pillow next to me on the chair, I keep my arm on it, as ling as I do not reach with that one I am ok. Using the paper trimmer is a whole nother story
I would just like to remind everyone to use the keywords, AOCC12 on their gallery uploads. That way all the cards show up in the All Occasion gallery. I have a hard time keeping up with threads and it's much easier to find the cards if they are all in one gallery. Thanks!

if we add the letter for the challenge after the acc12 it does not show up in the same gallery as the rest...so maybe we skip the letter, but make sure we mention the challenge part if we do it

I have a few cards made but haven't scanned them yet, well I WOULD but my Cat has stolen the cord she's 4 years old NOT 4 months but clearly still in a kitten stage
I have a Riley hockey player, a summer Santa and hopefully if I finish them in time 4 reindeer cards.
CASE is an acronym for copy and share everything. That's, when you copy someone's card, and share all the details....who's card you copied and how did you change it to make it your own. ie different paper, different colour, different image. I am at work right now, but I have a card at home, just finished that is a CASE of someone else's card that I will upload when I get home.
