OH MY!!! Do you have the magnetic adapter for the sizzlets??? Gosh, I am AMAZED that a red Sizzix still exists... that was my FIRST (of many) machines... that and the purple Wizard! lol I am thinking that perhaps the magnetic adapter MIGHT work for these and other thin dies...

So Miss Alma and DT, question for you on the toppers dies. On one of the dies (I think it is the topper with the circles) there re two line style looking drawings (for lack of a better description). One I can see making a fishtail/tag type shape but for the life of me I can't envision what the other one will look like. I can't remember if the other topper features anything like this.

Also, if I wanted to with the toppers, I can just die cut and endless line of snowflakes if I wanted to? I just want to make sure that I have the concept correct.

when my buddy got laid off unemployment had a program that would pay for her to go back to school. The choices were all for medical related fields, like dental or x-ray technician. The idea is that there are always employment oppurtunities in the health industry.
I don't know if they still make that offer but if they do, how can you go wrong, you get to collect your unemployment and go to school for free.

LOL, I still have that original Sizzix machine. A friend told me they were awesome for stamping large background stamps evenly too!

I'll have to check into that. Rumor has it that my former employer also fights unemployment claims (as we were let go for not meeting performance objectives and all).

Here's my project using the "Man" Cut Up. I think they'd look adorable on picks or dowels in a poinsettia. Maybe I'll make them in felt, that's the great thing about the Cut Ups - you can cut thru felt, and cardstock too.

What a gorgeous project! I love it when stamping and homemade decor go together so effortlessly. I can see cute treat boxes for the kids teachers with homemade gingerbread.

Gingy's voice from Shrek saying "not the buttons....not the gumdrop buttons" is all I keep hearing in my head today. I also keep seeing the scene in my head where they are torturing Gingy and dunking him (aka water torture) in milk.

The other one, below the fishy tail looking one can make the top of a traditional tag. You just need to use a punch if you want to put a hole

I was thinking something easier, I saw red and green sprinkly stuff with teeny gingerbread men mixed in. I think it's a Wilton product. I thought you could dip a pretzel stick end in chocolate and put the sprinkly stuff on it. This would be easy enough for kids to do and it would be nice for them to help.

Mine arrived. OK, I did have almost the entire release (thank you again, Alma) but I had to have the Big Guy set and so while I was there I picked up a couple other things. Including some cotton candy twine. Geez, I forgot how big those spools are - good thing I love twine and pink.
I've been in a TCP mood from this so I made a card for the wood challenge. Now I just have to get it off the camera.
