In It To Win It—Summer 2011

http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...lbum/In-It.gif

Did you have a chance to check out the Wednesday Tutorial, right there on the front page of Splitcoaststampers? Our very own Amy Rohl created an awesome tutorial using one of the stamps from our next release on June 28.

We've had so many of you ask about it, that we've decided to give it away! Along with the other stamp sets in the release. Like the one we are showing above.

Want to win something?! All you have to do is comment on this thread. And it can be about anything. The tutorial, techniques you like to use, some you'd like to see, the weather. Anything you want.

Then each day during our Sneaky Peek Week, starting on Tuesday June 21, we'll randomly choose a winner from the comments on this thread. The winner will win the set that we are Sneaky Peeking that day.

And all you have to do to win is comment! The more comments the better. Easy Peasy.

Ready? Set? Go!

Hmmmm I'm curious now..... I've gotta go see which tutorial you're talking about. I've been looking at several tutorials and they are all a blur in my head now, so I gotta go make sure I know which one you're referring to.... LOL!

hbrown 06-16-2011 01:15 PM

Ohhh the paper pleating one! LOVED that! The bunny on the bike is so daggum cute!

I KNOW! She really makes what looks hard, easy! Love these Splitcoaststamper Tuts! Don't know what I'd do without them.

leigh obrien 06-16-2011 01:27 PM

I especially love those ones that are EASY and then also pack a visual punch! That Amy, she's gooooood!

CassieT 06-16-2011 01:38 PM

I would LOVE to win some stamps! The tutorial was great and the set she used is so darn cute :D

charliegirl612 06-16-2011 01:39 PM

I have been trying to wing this technique and it wasn't working, so the tutorial is great. I love the tip of using twine or ribbon to secure it even more!

Loving those new little bunnies! Such possibilities! And yes, our Amy is a PERFECT Covergirl for SCS, don't you think?!

By the way, I've heard that Covergirl (the makeup company) now wants Amy to star in one of those commercials with Jennifer Lopez and Queen Latifah. Fortunately, Ms. Rohl puff-puff'd them, saying "Don't you know? I have to get ready for The Cat's Pajamas new release - SNEAKY PEEK WEEK is starting in just a few short days!"

That's what I heard, anyway. Not to gossip or anything... I hate that kinda stuff... {<a href="http://www.millan.net"><img src="http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/laugh3.gif" border=0 alt="Smiley from millan.net"></a>}

Makalah 06-16-2011 04:52 PM

I think the penguins will be making an appearance - I saw one flying away with a kite!

And there's the biker bunny.

And the hot air balloon bunny

And clouds (and sun?!?) dies...

No, I'm not on the hunt for sneak peeks or anything, am I? maybe I should have left these as separate comments. :P

Yikes- sounds appealing, huh?!!! lol!

Aw Jenny, you ruined it! A little penguin told me Alma was planning to have a "Guess the DT member's hands from this close-up hand photo" contest for the next release, and you just gave yourself away. It'll be a freebie for everyone!

I'm now going to picture Freddy Krueger saying "Ok ladies, let's get these swanky stamps inky!" and starting to do a demo for us. AHHHHH!!!

nancyt 06-16-2011 08:29 PM

Ok now....who wants to see a pic of Jenny's serial killer hands???!!

nancyt 06-16-2011 08:30 PM

Loved Amy's tutorial and card. Of course after seeing her fab project, I'm thinking I need to go back and rework the card I made with that cute biker bunny.

Great tutorial Alma! You really do have one of the best design teams around! :p

Now if I happen to get randomly picked, I want my goodies to go to someone else (as you have already been more than generous with my Swanky Stamper goodies). My youngest son will be turning 8 a couple of days after the release. So if I win, I want my winnings to go to the 8th person either above or below me.....

Paper Pleating adds great dimension to a card - it is now on the craft "To Try" list.

My next mission is to finally get my Cat's Pajamas stamps free of their plastic wrappers and put to good use (a humanitarian effort I am calling Free the Kitty).

Happy Crafting all!!!

CassieT 06-17-2011 05:42 AM

You ladies are funny! I was aways for a few hours and I come back to 'serial killer hands'. . .BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
