It's the very first day of Sneaky Peek Week and we are starting the week off with my favorite penguins. Larry, Darryl and his other brother, Darryl. And, they are doing what they do best, playing around and getting into trouble. This set and the rest of the sets and dies that we'll be sneaking this week will be available for purchase on October 29.
Nancy Thomas kicks off the week using Peace, Joy & Penguins, but also one of our new Toppers! You get two dies in the Holiday Topper and this is one of them. It's perfect to run along the side of a tag.
Or, you can use the Holiday Topper along the top. I love the extra bling that Noelle McAdams uses to decorate the topper in this card. It adds a perfect bit of sparkle.
And, don't forget our TCP Tuesday Anti-Embellishment Challenge! This is Susan Liles' entry and it is just fabulous! This card is the perfect fit for and envelope and it doesn't need extra padding to send it. And, her choice of paper really adds to the fun.
It's Day #2 of Sneaky Peek Week and I'm feeling a bit nostalgic with this newest set, Vintage Holiday. This set and all the sets and CutUps dies we show during Sneaky Peek Week will be available on October 29.
Vintage Holiday is a set that was designed to be used with our Framed Up CutUps, but it's perfectly fine to use it by itself. This is a nice big set, and there are lots of different graphics that can be mixed and matched in this set.
I wanted a set that was reminiscent of Christmases past, but was still modern. It took me a while to design this set, but, once I got started, I couldn't stop.
Wendy McGaffey has a bit of that modern flair in the colors that she uses. And, the Holiday Topper is a perfect way to tie the old with the new.
Lisa Henke's pretty card shows just how wonderful this set is stamped in colors. And notice the dots in the background? That's one of our new dies used to emboss the background. Just stunning!
Location: Currently upstate New York - it could change...
Hooray! More penguins! Those li'l guys are one of the reasons I became so enamored of The Cat's Pajamas in the first place (still sad that I didn't get Havin' a Pow Wow before it was discontinued, although I did get It's a Western Thing...), so I'm SO EXCITED!!! Completely adorable samples from the design team (totally need the Holiday/Celebrate die), and FUN TIMES!
Within you there is a solitude and peace to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself...
It's Day #3 of Sneaky Peek Week and I'm getting ready for Sunday with this set. This set and all the sets and CutUps dies we show during Sneaky Peek Week will be available on October 29.
Like so many of us, on any given Sunday (during football season) I can be found glued to the set watching my beloved team. In my case, it's the 49ers. For others, it's the Redskins. Or Broncos. Or the Cowboys. I don't care what anyone says. Football is the American sport. And, this set celebrates that.
Check out this awesome card by Noelle, whose favorite team is the Broncos, I'm guessing. She uses the NEW Dots background with the Big Scallop to create a fun pattern and the Cloud Border, and Grass to create the perfect background for this running bunny.
How about Kelli's fabulous card? This bunny is running to victory to cheers of "Go! Go! Go!"
Lisa's terrific card mixes the Chevron background with the Talk To Me word balloons. Her bunny is beautifully colored!
It's Day #4 of Sneaky Peek Week and here, in San Francisco, it's starting to feel like Winter already. It may not snow here, usually, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't get cold! And, when it does, we all start to feel a bit like snowmen. Which is perfect segue into the introduction of this set, "Let The Flakes Fly" This set and all the sets and CutUps dies we show during Sneaky Peek Week will be available on October 29.
So now onto the cards.
Wendy's stunning card, mixes this set and the Peace, Love & Penguins set. Wendy uses her silhouette to cut the trees, but I recommend the Holiday Toppers CutUps.
It's Day #5 of Sneaky Peek Week! And, that means that release day is almost here. To me, Winter means a cold of some sort. And one, hopefully, that doesn't last. Bounce Back, is a wonderful set to stamp for all those on your list that could use a bit of a pick me up. Not only does this set feature the long-eared bunny, and some fun sentiments, but also a tissue box and tea. This set and all the sets and CutUps dies we show during Sneaky Peek Week will be available on October 29.
So now onto the cards.
Susan's bright and happy card would cheer up even the sickest soul. Easy to paper piece, this set is fun to color, too! Love the patterned Cloud Border CutUps
Lisa's pretty card uses lots of CutUps to adorn it, including the newest Dots Background.
This card by Nancy, is super contemporary and super cute. The kraft paper is perfect to set off the bunny and the tissue is just perfect.
It's Day #6 of Sneaky Peek Week! And, that means only two more sleeps until release day! This set and all the sets and CutUps dies we show during Sneaky Peek Week will be available on October 29.
I don't know about you, but the Holidays tend to be a "little" caloric for me. I just can't help it, there are goodies galore, some which only make their appearance around the Holiday. More power to those with the willpower to "just say no", since I am more likely to say, "the diet starts tomorrow." This little guy should have had more willpower, since there is no way he is making it down that skinny chimney, no matter how much he believes.
So now onto the cards.
This card by Kimberly shows this set off to perfection using the Celebration Topper and on of the snowflakes from the set. The stitching adds the perfect down home touch.
Kelli's card is simply modern and fun. Her paper choice is perfect for the penguin that needs to run off a few pounds. (No Comment)
Wendy creates a simply stunning card. Just a classic, and the penguin and his toys are perfectly colored. This stamp set is wonderful for making one card or one hundred.
It's Day #7 of Sneaky Peek Week! And, that means only one more sleeps until release day! This set and all the sets and CutUps dies we show during Sneaky Peek Week will be available on October 29.
I designed this set with some of my Canadian friends in mind. I've had several requests to do more Simply Said sets, sets that are classic word sets, for different occasions, and this set is the first. It has many different sayings for the different people in your life during this Holiday Season. So, if there is one set to get this year, it is this one. It's perfect for mixing and matching
So now onto the cards.
I don't know about you, but Jessica's card reminds me of candy. It's a modern twist on a classic theme. Jessica pairs the "Merry" and "Christmas" in the set with the NEW Ornaments CutUps for a simple, yet beautiful card.
Nancy's pretty card uses the same ornaments and the same CutUps, but for completely different looks. Loving this silver and aqua combination.
I just have to show you one more look of Nancy's using the same ornaments, the Celebration Toppers and just the "Happy" from the "Simply Holiday" set. Just a beauty. And, what different looks
Lori creates a terrific embroidered Dreidel bag. This set is a wonderful way to personalize your gifts and favors this year.
