**I updated the photo so that you can see the background paper better! (february 21st)**
Here is my sketch. I used the 8 1/2 x 11 layout and made it 12x12. The backgroud paper is the paper that Jack stamped (or at least a scan of it!) I know it is hard to tell in the pictures.
Here is what the journaling says:
Jack loves to come to Nanny's house! He loves to stamp there. He also loves it when Nanny brings stamps to his house. The paper here was made by Jack when Nanny was working on some RAK's for her SCS friends. The pictures on the next page were taken when you stamped the paper.
I had a hard time uploading these. My computer kept freezing because of the name of the file. I hope I deleted the right one and don't have 2 of the same pages here. Have to wait till they get approved to see if I did this correctly.
Yippee, I got some pages done!!! I really liked your sketch Tracy, (and I hope to try Cindy's too!); I wish I'd been able to get a good photo with both sides, but I had to do them separately.... Here's the Left Side And here's the Right Side
If you get and appreciate comments, leave comments! Pay it forward....You'll make someones day!
Cindy's 12x12 sketch;
this layout is very special to me, so wanted to get it all down on paper, need to take a picture of the layout and send it to my Mom, I think she would like to see how it turned out.
okay between my DD soccer practice and my other DD orchestra practice and me trying to get in my training miles for the marathon, I have now finally uploaded my sketch.
But in my rush I forgot to list what I used.
so here it goes.....
Paper ...almost amethyst
ink.. basic black and versamark
accesories... white organdy ribbion, non SU flower stickers and sliver frame
Location: Near vineyards, redwoods, oak trees, dairy farms, & the ocean
Alright, this week I got ambitious, and did both Cindy's ANDTracy's sketch challenges AND Vicki's theme challenge. Don't know that I'll be able to do as much next much, but boy, it feels good this week!!
Whew, here they are. Earlier today I didn't think I would be able to do this...I usually take pictures, but our camera died right after xmas. So please excuse the "line" in the pictures, it's where I copied and pasted the 2 halves back together after scanning.
They are in pending as I type! I wanted to get them in before I get going on the rest of my day!
I am so thankful for these challenges cause I have gotten back into my scrapbooking, it has challenged me to crop my pictures to the details that really matter, it has challenged me to layout the photos in ways I never would have thought of and it has challenged me to try new things. These challenges have been soo much fun and I am so thankful (sorry I don't tell you enough) for all that you all do and I appreciate it. Thanks.

Hope I'm getting all the directions right this week! I think I am getting this done in the nick of time... hope it makes it since the image is still pending approval... Hope everyone is having a great week! Thanks for the time you guys put into this... it is so much fun!
OK, it's up and going now! So sorry that once again this week I am queen of 1000 meaningless posts... this is the last one (I promise)! I wanted to repost my link just in case there was any confusion with all my posts above....
Can't wait to see the layouts for next week... my goal will be to post my layout with only one post!!! Thanks again to everyone working on getting all these things up and going! I have been loving this website for some time, but only just got up the nerve to submit/post anything, so I am still learning that part...
I wanted to have this uploaded earlier, but I had technical difficulties...LOL!
After the snowflakes were dry I ran out of adhesive!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! I usually have a few extras, but not this time! When I got back from JoAnns I ended up rearranging my layout to a mirror image of the original design, and my title page is still not coming together using the sketch; if I get time tomorrow, I'll try to finish it and upload as well.
Well, here it is Snow Day
I know it's late, but have a look, I am a comment junkie after all
Oh no, I am not going to finish on time for this weeks challenge, it's a great sketch and I'm sorry I am missing this week, I will be back for next weeks challenge and I thank you for the wonderful ideas. Everyone did such a wonderful job on this sketch and they are truly inspirational.
