Love this sketch, Sally! I was able to use a page overlay for the first time and was pleased with the result. I wanted to do a little more stamping but was afraid it would be too much. Anywho, here it is:
I think i've left comments for everyone - trying to leave some gallery love lol. Barb i absolutely love how you used your overlay - i have that same one (i think) and havent worked out how to use it so thanks for the inspiration!
Just kidding, but it feels like forever since I've last done a sketch challenge! I've been pretty busy with Convention (preparing to go there, going there, coming back and getting my mind to come back, too! It sort of lingered behind in SLC for a couple of days...)
Anyway, I'm back full force and ready to scrapbook again! I've used my brand-new Pina Colada SS kit for this sketch and here's what came out of it:
Thanks for the FAB sketch, Sally! I really liked this one.. it all fell together with the photos I wanted to scrap. I left it on my desk.. and just kept adding to it until it felt done...
This was inspired by last weeks challenge but, doesn't really follow the sketch... the pics are the correct size though and I LOVE my 3x6 pic of my new puppy (chocolate lab). Thanks - I wouldn't have used/done that...
As you can tell from the page, puppy is growing fast. Max is about 22 lbs at top and probably 40+ at bottom. He is now about 70 lbs and has changed from cute & cuddly to handsome & debonair. (Ok, he's still a clutz but he has several months to grow yet so, I seriously hope he slows down and grows into his legs & feet!!)
Here is my page and I added a second page because I loved the idea of little journaling strips for the pix. Worked great for a year in review type of page.

Well thats good to know since I always seem to be trailing behind everyone else. I'll Never understand how everyone gets their challenges done so fast! LOL!
