OK, here's the digs. My beloved slave driver of a mother insisted that I get out and do the yard work today (with her help) and yesterday was the day from H*** My car broke down, I didn't finish errands, and my son is pushing last of his first molar set and it has for corners exposed but still covered with gum and he is a BEAR!!
So, I haven't got this sketch for you all yet. Hopefully tonight I'll get a chance to work on it. We'll see. Try to be patient-- those who wait every weekend (I know there are a couple of you). I'll get to it. Promise.
I may draw the sketch and then do my sample a little later this week. I've got tons of sketch ideas saved up, but no examples for them as yet.
I'll post to this same thread when I get it done.

Hey, I understand how things can get, especially this time of year. Don't worry, we devotees will still be here! Remember: Good things come to those who wait, and patience is a virtue!
Have a great holiday weekend!
Janice
This is a crazy weekend for everybody. I won't even be able to scrap til Tuesday anyway. Thanks for doing these, though. It's helping me get some pages done.
I just thank you for doing them! Even though I do not get a chance to take pictures of my pages and post, I do use your sketches often. I just did my sons 13 years of school (K-12). It was a marathon job. I had a week to do it, but I used most of the sketches on here for insporation whenever my own mind went down. (Which was often! LOL!) Our lives are all crazy. That's why we don't need soap operas, we all live one! ( Or maybe we do just to see ours aren't quite so bad sometimes.) Anyway, THANK YOU for doing these.
I did the sketch-- well a couple of days ago but my son has sucked on the end of my download cord to my camera and it seems that it isn't working (arg) and my scanner has been on the fritz, but I finally got it to work and my sister is getting her children (she is adopting) tomorrow night so I've been mega busy helping her. But here it is.
I haven't done my version yet. The pictures are picked out but no more. I had to put precise sizes on the pic so that if you are trying to get a certain look you can just copy the sizes. However, feel free to modify to your heart's content.
Happy scrapping.

Also, congratulations to your sister on her adoption! As an adoptee I applaud anyone who opens thier heart and home to children they consider their own! My parents did it four times before having two biological (or what I call "home made"!) and they treated us all equally and never kept our adoptions a secret. I wish the best for her and her family. How exciting!
I finally got a chance to do a version of this sketch. I need to buy the alphabet to make the title still, but the rest of the layout is done.
Note, it is so important to keep the sizes consistent on page 2. I accidently cut one of the side pieces to 2 inches instead of 2 1/4. I had to cut them all down and then trim the center photo so that I could matte it to make up for the loss of 1/4". However, in the end, I think this served the purpose of the layout.
Hope this gives you all some inspiration to give it a try. It's a lot of pics, but well organized and structured to allow the photoes to work. Also, remember that if you are a one page layout kinda gal, you can always just use page one of the layout without page 2.
Happy Scrapping

I loved this layout. I had so many pix I wanted to use and this allowed me to display them in a clean and not too busy layout. Also, did the same layout for both of my daughters with a slight variation and a slightly different look. Thanks for the sketch! I am working on SBSC16, too! Please don't stop the sketch challenges!
