Default Problem subscribing to thread
Hi,

I'm trying to subscribe to the thread Ask Beate - Conditioning clear stamps under General Stamping Talk. When I go to thread tools ->subscribe to this thread the page hangs and there is a message in the lower left corner saying Connecting to angurtegoarmin.org...

When I use the back button it flashes the normal subscription page then loads the thread page again.

The url displayed by hovering over 'subscribe to this thread' looks good.

I went to several other thread in several forums and I was able to go to the thread subscription page correctly on all of them.

Does anyone else see this problem? I'm trying to figure out if it is the site or my browser.

Thanks for the help.

I don't know but if you just post in the thread (you can say something like "subbing"), it should subscribe you that way, unless you turned off autosubscribe.

Hmmm - this - angurtegoarmin.org... - makes me nervous that you have malware or a virus - that is not part of our site. Can you run a scan?

We are using Firefox, it is taking a very long time to go to a new page in the forums, and angurtegoarmin.org is showing up in the lower left as well. We just ran a scan on our computer and nothing was detected. My husband is wondering if it may have something to do with the advertising that is displayed on the site. Thanks!

I ran a scan on my computer but no viruses were found. I too was wondering if this was related to advertising.
