Posting in Advanced Mode

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I have been having a problem with advanced mode posting. I used to be able to choose advanced mode and then when I wanted to change font color or bold something, all I had to do was hit the icon button in the toolbar above the post, and then when I typed something, it was bold or the color I chose or underlined. Now, I have to do everything with httl code or whatever it's called. It gets very confusing for posting new threads. Is there anything I can do to fix this?????

Hi there - you don't need to do the coded version - once you are in advanced mode, you can toggle from html to visual editing with the button with A/a on it.

You honestly don't know how long I've been struggling with that!!!!
I don't know why I never touched that button!
