In the drop down box it shows "messages" . does a number show up beside that when I have a message or do I have to go into messages to see if there are any?
Yes - you have to go into it. That's a good suggestion though - I'll look into that. Also - we agree with you on the like button and have asked for that
Absolutely!! I've been using an old barely smart phone for the last three weeks and have had to use the mobile forum and gallery on it. No problems with either.
I see what you mean, Kathy. I get into the mobile gallery by clicking on the link when I get notification of a comment on one of my own cards or an upload to a gallery I am subscribed to. If you still opt out of notifications on your own uploads, just try clicking on a link to a card in any challenge thread. That seems to work for me, though strangely clicking on a link to an overall challenge gallery doesn't seem to take me to the mobile version.
And once you've got into it, you can bookmark it for easy future access.
I'm still not crazy about the mobile site but it beats seeing the floating ads. (Which, by the way, I only see on SCS, not on other websites. On mobile, if anyone's taking notes, I'd like to see avatars, have a like button, be able to subscribe or unsubscribe, and have a number show up next to messages so I'd know to check them. I'd also like to see galleries in mobile view and have galleries listed with the other choices for quick linking. Most times I can only get to the gallery by clicking on the split coast stampers logo in the top center. Hope this helps as you work on future updates. But maybe if you did all that it wouldn't be any different than regular view? I'm not so tech savvy....
