Odd question, is there a tool that is a rolling paper piercer

Do you know of a rolling paper piercer that rolls like a pizza cutter? I keep picturing my grandmother using something similar as a child. Maybe with fabric to trace a pattern?

Yes, they were tracing wheels. They were used to trace the pattern onto fabric. Lol, that's how I learned to sew almost 60 years ago. They do still make them & they're inexpensive. Not sure how it would be on paper but worth a try.

I've used a tracing wheel like the below one for a piercing design on cards, works great. I've also got the Scor Bug and the Tonic Studios Mini Rotary Perforator. They each give a slightly different look.

Another fan of the tracing wheel here, they work just fine on papercraft projects to give you a pierced line and they can be picked up really inexpensively.

If I ever want a bigger or more obvious hole than the ones the wheel creates, I usually just put a piece of fun foam behind the cardstock push a pin through the holes left by the wheel. That obviously makes the process slower though as the beauty of the wheel is the speed of piercing the line.

I have some tools referred to as Pounce Wheels made by Excel that I like. I have three different sizes: 15/in. fine 1/4" dia.; 21/in. fine 1/4" dia.; and 15/in. course 7/16" dia. I bought them many years ago at a local art store. I did a search and was able to find them at Amazon. If you Google: Pounce Wheels, you will see them singularly or in a set of 3 at several different places. Just another choice for you.
