Shoebox Project Information:
This is the only mandatory part of the day which will take place on our schedule in the morning and afternoon.
All shoebox projects should have individual pre-made kits so participants can take the supplies in case they don't finish all swaps. For each kit, put all of the precut paper pieces, ribbons and embellishments needed to make your project into a ziplock style bag, an envelope to keep the finished project in or even a junk mail return envelope. It’s much quicker to have all of the pieces already sorted out and bagged than it is to have to dig through multiple bags of supplies looking for what you need. You will need an extra bag or envelope with extra pieces for “oopsies”.
**Please have your shoebox completely prepared and ready to go when you arrive for the gathering. Unfortunately, there have been complaints at past events of people not having their shoebox projects ready for their tablemates to work on, making this reminder necessary. If you don't arrive with a completed and ready to go shoebox project, your tablemates are not obligated to allow you to do the project they have prepared. Prepared means having all of the elements of your pre planned project prepared and ready for your tablemates. Tossing a bunch of random supplies on the table and instructing people to "create whatever they would like" is not acceptable. Please be considerate of others and extend the courtesy of having your shoebox project ready when you arrive. Thanks!!**
*Your shoebox project can be anything stamped*
• If you are making a card, we will make FULL cards using at least one embellishment (ribbon, brads, buttons, etc).• Quality CS is a MUST! This means your base cardstock should be strong enough to hold up your card for display. • Please have all card pieces pre-cut. • Please bring stamps or other items for your project • Please include instructions (aka: recipes), tips and any other important information. • Please bring four extra completed shoe box projects. You will use one as your sample at your table, two for hostess gifts and one for a door prize. • You may make other projects keeping in mind it should not take more than 10-12 mins to complete.
We will be voting on the best shoebox project for a prize.
Swaps Please note that if you sign up for a swap and do not fulfill your commitment, you will not receive any swaps from the others in your group. Check your counts before the day of the event to be sure you have the correct number.
We will have 5 swaps:
1. NVR CARD full card 2. Fancy Fold full card 3. INSPIRATIONAL 6x6 4. Easel Card 5. Card Candy
Swaps are not mandatory – you may participate in as few or as many as you would like. Please remember to showcase your best work using quality products. You must use at least two layers and one embellishment on each swap – thanks!! Please have all of your swaps completed BEFORE the day of the event. It’s a busy day and there usually isn’t time to work on them at the event.
Door Prize Donations~OPTIONAL If you would like to donate a door prize to our event please indicate on the registration form. <fieldset class="fieldset" style="margin-bottom: 6px; font-size: 11px;"><legend style="color: rgb(109, 109, 109); font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; font-family: tahoma, verdana, geneva, lucida, "lucida grande", arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Attached Files</legend>

This swap is a little different! Make a 6” x 6” base and add some beautiful artwork and an inspirational saying to display. Use at least 2 layers and 1 embellishment. Make sure you use quality card stock so the cards will stand up easily and aren’t wimpy and saggy. (Similar to 6x6 Recipe card)

For this swap, you only Make ONE.
Start with a base no smaller than 8” in circumference and no larger than 14” in circumference. Let your creative juices flow and create a one of a kind holiday wreath. Think Valentine’s, St. Patrick’s, Easter, Patriotic, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas....you get the idea. This wreath does not have to be made of paper, but it does need to incorporate stamping or scrapbooking kinds of elements. Make something you’d love to display in your home. You make ONE and you get ONE.

Here’s another new one for you! Take a solid color gift bag no smaller than 8”x10” and gussy it up for Christmas gift giving. Use your ribbons, buttons, fabric scraps, digital images, glitter (we all love glitter, don’t we?) and creativity to make an amazing show stopper of a Christmas gift bag. Don’t worry about sticking to traditional colors or schemes. As long as it hollers Christmas gift giving, you’re on the right track. Like the wreath swap, you only make ONE of these and receive ONE in return. I can’t wait to see what people make!

This is a CARDFRONT ONLY swap. Please make your cardfront 4”x5.25”
so they can be adhered easily to a standard cardbase. You may also make full cards if needed for your design.
NVR means there are no vendor restrictions. You can use supplies from ANY companies or companies you like. Please make sure you use at least two layers and one embellishment. As always, use good quality paper and make sure you don’t have crooked cuts or ragged edges unless that is part of your design.
This swap should reflect a holiday that falls between September 1 and February 28.

Swaps are going to be small groups this time. It will be easier to swap out or can be swapped out by me and Beth while you are stamping.
Also, please pre-punch as much of your project at home so punches are not stolen again. Make sure all stamps, tools, and inkpads are marked with your name. We will be taking steps to make sure things are not stolen again at this event.
Have had registration made out and finally put in the mail today. I will have some 2019 calendars for anyone who want them for sale at last years prices... 10 for 3.50 that's .35 each, that's tax and shipping included. Please bring exact amount or check because I may not have change.

Just a reminder, ladies.....
Bring your own essentials kit including scissors, adhesives (tape runner, liquid glue, dimensional, sticky dots), bone folder, pokey tool, straight edge, baby wipes....
Make sure you label anything you dont want to lose. We have had scissors, bone folders, adhesives, markers, all sorts of things left behind in the past. Remember youll be making 16 cards, so bring PLENTY of adhesive. It tends to be one thing that runs out.
