The past couple months I have had serious creative block, mainly due to lack of stamping time. It is a vicious cycle, where the less I stamp, the rustier my creativity gets, which makes the block worse, which kills my desire to stamp, and so on.
Instead of throwing in the towel in frustration, though, I have been searching the galleries by stamp set and CASEing cards. It suits my limited stamping time because, beyond adapting it to the papers and embellishments I have on hand, I don't have to really think of an original piece. The challenge of finding patterned paper and embellishments, though, gives me enough of a creative lift to keep the desire to stamp in me.
So, a HUGE thank you to everyone who uploads. Your generosity of spirit is really helping to keep my joy of stamping alive!
A great big thank you from me too. I have been stamping since 2009 (and a scrapbooker since 2000). I have taught classes at several different locations (and still teach regularly). I have never uploaded any cards. When I am bored (watching nothing of paricular interest on tv in the evenings), I look at all of the wonderful cards everyone has created. It is always interesting to see how someone has utilized a certain stamp set. I am especially impressed when someone comes up with how to create an animal, etc. using punches. Keep on trucking and again, many thanks! nanette
Have to add my thanks to all the wonderful artists who post their lovely creations in the gallery! I lurked for years on SCS, CASEing others' cards when I couldn't think of an idea (confession: I still do!), & getting a ton of inspiration, before I got up the courage to start uploading my own cards!
I also love, love all the wonderful tutorials! I've really expanded my own creativity (such as it is) by checking those out when I'm stuck for a good idea, or wanting to learn a new way to fold cardstock! :-)
SCS rocks!!

Yes, and ditto; I love all the inspiration on SCS! The tutorials, the cards you all upload, and the challenges are wonderful inspiration! Thank you to all of you for all that you do, including commenting, which is also encouraging!
I agree! I case a lot of my cards. Just don’t have the time to come up with designs of my own, especially if I need a card in a hurry. kudos to all of you who upload your designs!
