Ann, I'm so glad you are heading this up again! Last year I didn't meet my goals, but I did get a few cards made. Too bad I didn't send out a single card. So, for 2018 I need to count how many I have, figure out how many I need and then set a goal. I'll be back.
P.S. So glad to see so many familiar faces here!!!
I still owe uploads from last year but this saved me at my holiday craft fairs so much! I bundled them up as sets and they sold well, my mom got gorgeous cards for her friends (I got compliments), and I did not stress too much over my family cards.
I love how the monthly themes vary and stretch my style.
This is the best challenge on SCS! Having said that, I was a very successful in 2015, then slacked off a little in 2016. By 2017, I only had 3 months done and never got back to it.
I want to start fresh again and have a good year like I did in 2015. Therefore, I'm going to try real hard this year and be as productive as I can.
I would like to get 5 cards done each month. My SCS name is susie nelson and my first name is Susie.

Growing through challenges
I'm in again this year for 2 cards per month. I didn't quite reach my goal last year, but I was pleased with what I did finish. And I had enough for my family "gifts" without stressing in mid-December to get cards ready to be mailed on time.
This was a real motivator for me last year.
It is so cold a dreary here and I do not go back to work until the 8th; therefore, I am cutting my kits for my January cards today and have already decided on the February ones. I am going to put these together at a bit crop I am going to on Superbowl weekend. I will probably only watch the game if Minnesota or the Rams are playing so I am going to work on lots of cards that weekend.

I still havnt even sent your out yet and we in the new year.. you just may be getting yours wayyyy past fashionably late lo Does thinking of you count and get me brownie points? Aging is no fun especially when I been getting sick so often lately. :( . Btw grandson just left yesterday to leave this 73 degree weather to go back to frost bitting NY
Ouchie Sis!!! I�ve been afraid to mention much of the degrees here because so many of you are so close to sub 0 weather right now. Being sick I need to turn the ac on. I wonder if I were to be in your weather I wouldn�t have the issues I�m having. But with my luck with Murphy loving me so much I�m sure there would be other issues so I�m stay put and thinking of you keeping you and the many sistahs warm in my heart!!
I do, Ann. This year I had trouble getting into the swing 'cause I was in pain the first day but traditionally I bake for 3 days. I mix up refrigerator cookies the first day, Day 2 I bake those while I mix up drop cookies then 3rd day is candies/ fudge type stuff. This year I didn't get any of the last category done at all. I'm in a better position for this year, I think.
We only have our DD's family (4) to do gifts for so our Gift is to those who have served us throughout the year in some way by delivering goody boxes in multiple towns. I also keep a couple extra boxes int he car in case I come across the homeless, or those with kids so I can share with them. This year I'll keep extra hat/ gloves/ scarf sets in the car as well.

I hear you about hats/gloves/scarves! Seems like I am doing it again.. we are in a cold spell and I am checking in with everyone to make certain they are warm! Tomorrow it will be warmer so I am not as worried about my battery dying in the extreme cold. I am going looking for more socks..-40 socks... I lost my warm hat... the gloves I bought.. one hand fits weird. Grumpy... my son.. says he has all he needs... I did find slippers for my elderly friend with edema? I think that is what it is called.. her calf is larger than her thigh...she tried her husbands shoes but the leather was too tough and hurt her.
ooopps there I go again. it is 66 in here and I am cold so I think I have brain freeze! LOL need a hot cuppa

Mahalo Doll ...I do have some made and yours in waiting ...just as you said I need to get better first . I�m just so hardheaded like I was in FF17 I just have to finish what I start. Mahalo much love sis . Grandson wasn�t lucky enough to have his flight canceled. So his back in freezing NY. And his poor fianc� hasn�t stopped crying , poor girl.
Hello! I would love to join again this year. Maybe I can do better and get every month done for 2018, even the catch up month of December did not help me! I used some store bought cards along with my own for 2017. So sad, I know.

I would like to join the challenge. I usually make all of my cards from one design. But ... I have so many Christmas stamps and if I continue my one design a year, I will die and have not used all of my Christmas stamps. LOL My SCS name is k prakken and my real name is Kim Prakken.
