Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending SATURDAY, November 11, 2017
It's my turn to start the Clean and Simple Favorites thread this week. This thread is for everyone to share their CAS favorites for the week that began on Sunday the 5th and ends today, Saturday the 11th.
If you have favorites that aren't Clean and Simple, we encourage you to share those in the regular Favorites thread.
Now, there's another issue going on tonight. I don't want to scare you or anything, but your (and everyone else's) Favorites folder is empty, except for what you fave'd today. It has been reported to the techie folks but it may not be fixed right away. Please join in when you can. Kia (who is starting the regular Faves thread) and I are going through the last 7 days posts and picking up our faves through browsing. That's so that we can give you something to look at!
So, here's some of my CAS faves from the past week. I may add more later.
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...

Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.

Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
I am happy to be back this week with my favorites. I am so incredibly blessed to have a very talented marching band member in the Avon Marching band. They took 3rd place at Grand Nationals last night.

I tried to find some of the cards I added to my favorites this week but I am sure I missed some. I sure hope these techies can get rid of these gremlins.

I was just over at the Favorites thread as Maura listed one of my cards there, and she has a great suggestion we can use while we have the problems with our Favorites folders being invisible. Here's what she wrote:
"Before I list my faves I wanted to explain a system I have for preparing my "faves" that may be helpful if we continue to have difficulties with the forum. I keep a running document in Microsoft Word all week and anytime I "fave" a card, I copy the URL, switch over to my document, write the person's name (I didn't have to do that before our other problem), paste the URL and save the document - it goes really fast when you do it one card at a time all week. Then on Sunday I just copy and paste the whole document and I am good to go!"

Whoohoo...just checked out my fav's gallery ...they are back. Still like the idea of a file with name of member and url of card that can be added during the week. Will make it much quicker to add to either the CAS or non CAS Favorites Threads Hugs __________________
