Question Blade problem with M.S. paper trimmer

Even though they are not readily available anymore, I bought a close-out, brand new M.S. Paper Trimmer. I love it -EXCEPT - the blade will not stay in the blade holder. I have pushed with pliers, tried other blades, etc. and they all fall out as soon as I lift up the cutting arm. Does anyone have a remedy? I'm considering putting a bit of tacky glue on the plastic tip but wonder if there are other solutions. Thank you very much for your ideas.;)

I don't own this trimmer, but I found this video on Youtube about it. Maybe it will have some helpful tips:

The trick was inserting the blade properly! I had watched other videos but this one was CLEAR and I got the blade in securely. TYTYTYTY!

Oh wow - so happy the video helped you fix it! There is nothing more frustrating than trying and trying to get something to work right.
