Hello! I'm out of town so I'm posting a little early.
My challenge to you this week is to make a project by starting with a watercolor wash (either paints or inks mixed with water). After the washy background is completely dry stamp a line art image on top in archival (waterproof ink). If you want to you can go back and add more details to the image with paints, markers or pencils.

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Had the chance to play with this new SU set- Beautiful You- and did some water coloring for fun. Kept it simple with 2 sets of 3 gems. Here's Let's Dance

Saw a darling Riley card in the gallery, so it inspired me to dig out my Riley stamps- went with a hot air balloon (a foil coffee bag, cut with a round punch) which I pieced over my stamped balloon image. Added a sentiment from April 2016's All About Everything (Paper Pumpkin extra stamp set) and did a bit of watercolor work and embossing for my cloudy sky. Here's Riley's Balloon
