Default Hello

Quick drop in!!!

Hubby is in heaven! He wants to move here! LOL I wanted to move here and now- wait- we have two more kids- hard to get here- at least $500 to fly here- very remote! we went to a couple of open houses today- well, they are actually next Sunday- we did see one house...nope...... I was not overly excited about the church here, will try another -on Wednesday , one has a PM mass- I may go to see it. That is probably my #1 decision for moving. (we have such wonderful priests and masses (very reverent) - the one in this town is a bit 1970 to me....) .

Susan- hope you enjoy the cabin- guessing since you are there, hubby is better!

Kelly- your VBS sounds like it would be so fun!

Lynn- I saw your card on FB today- wow- fabulous! New images? How fun to make samples for all of the new sets!

Jeanette- so nice to be home and get lots done! I am afraid of what will go missing while hubby is hoe without me! LOL He better stay out of my stamping room, that is for sure! hehehe

Ray heds home tomorrow, I have until the 26th to snuggle this sweet little peanut!

Hugs to all
Shelly

Hello Paper-Loving Inky Friends!

Calorie-free dessert, that is!

Kelly, it poured here most of the day yesterday, too! Me-oh-my! The farmers sure didn't need that. And we even had some churches that called off evening worship due to flooding. (We also have thunderstorms in the forecast every day for the next 8 days.)

Shelly, I love - LOVE - the pictures! Such a sweet bundle to be snuggled! Enjoy your time there!

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello from another rainy Miami day! Jeanette, our weather is similiar, I fear! While I don't farms, we got rained out at the zoo plans so we're trying tomorrow ♥

Oh Shelly, your photos are just a sweet moment of snuggle wonder!

I didn't realize you were planning to move? I must have missed that - WOW!
My brother-in-law now lives in Westminster - if I ever get there to visit, I would be so happy. I told him it will be in winter though - LOL!

Waving to everyone!

Shelly, I certainly understand your thoughts about moving. My church is huge to me. They are all like family! But I know when my parents are no longer here, I will be moving on to live near my son. Thanks for these awesome pictures. Another week of peanut snuggling sounds like heaven!!

Kelly and Jeanette, could you send more of that rain this way? We have had stops and starts of it here, but with temperatures in the three digit range, we need more!!

I love that Monday photo, Kelly!!

Susan, I hope your trip to the lake isn't dampened by rain, too!!

I am hosting a card-making session this afternoon for two of my non-card-making friends. I am going to prep a bunch of stuff this morning to make things flow smoothly.

Bought new king-sized and queen-sized beds as well as two recliners. Now I feel better ready to host all the company I will have this weekend!

Thanks for the kind remarks about my latest cards. After Junkie Fest, 7 more sets are releasing and they are awesome. Can't wait for you to see what I have been working on. I got it all shipped out yesterday.

Lucky for me my house keeper comes today and all will be clean and ready for my stampers and my family!! My mother always complains that she doesn't put the rugs back on the floor after mopping. My solution, throw them in the washing machine for their monthly bath!

Wow I've been gone a week and Shelly is moving, Lynn wants to move but is bringing in new furniture, Jeanette is almost floating from rain and Kelly is exhausted from little 'ol Alice.
Lol Kelly...yep I bet you are happy momma can resume her duties. We are not as young as we use to be an little ones are exhausting. Lol
Shelly please do tell of your moving plans. I had no idea this was a thought. We better hook up for a meet soon before your way too far.
Lynn I have been admiring your recent cards. Awesome! How fun to be hosting a card event for friends. Can't wait to hear all about the success. By the way my friends would definitely love your cards. I don't color much as they would b e impressed. Thanks for kind words on my blog.
Jeanette...same to you..thanks for encouragement with kind comments on my blog. I don't have many followers so I appreciate your check ins. Hope the rains end soon. The kids have told me of some of their washed out plans.😣
Did you get some sorting and organizing done?
DH cough less and less. Nick started yesterday but hopefully it won't be as bad. Rains have basically been spotty here. 1 day rainy, next day sunny. A few have split around us so we'd just miss it. Rain on and off today but then Next 3 days should be fine but rain again for weekend.
I'll try to check in later. Going to make a few cards today.

Hello Paper-Loving Inky Friends!

Lynn, well of course... the cleaning lady and you have a great system for the monthly bathing of your rugs.

Susan! It's good to see you again. Loved your description of what we're all up to. (giggling)

I hope Nick does okay - we can't have him catching his dad's bugs anymore. UGH!

The sorting/organizing is going slowly... maybe because I keep distracting myself by what I find. LOL! Yesterday I spent all morning mounting some unmounted stamps (a lot of them!) onto cling mount and then researching the names of these stamps and getting them added to my Evernote inventory. These truly are stamps that I purchased at least 10 years ago - at a Whipper Snapper $1 Bin sale. There were bins and bins of unmounted stamps and every single one was a dollar. I came home from that sale and mounted them as I used them. Then apparently stashed the bag away and lost track of it. LOL! But it has been found and dealt with now.

Oh, and I also found a bunch of unmounted Riley and Co. stamps, as well as a few High Hopes and a couple of other random companies. Hmmmmm... trying to decide whether to purge them or mount (and inventory) them.

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Jeanette!! I get distracted when I reorganize, too. How fun to find a bag full of fabulous unused images. Alas, I think I have a huge bag full of wood mounted images I bought the same way. If I decide to tackle my husband's office which has now turned into a huge junk room, there is no telling what I will find. I want to do it and make it into an extra guest bedroom which I badly need! But I'm going to need help so it will have to wait for now.

Susan, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Nick's coughing improves like your husband's has and doesn't turn into something serious! I hope also that the rain is letting up on you so you all can get out and enjoy that home by the lake!

Morning to Kelly and Shelly, too!! Hope you girls are sleeping in and enjoying the pleasures of summer!!

Lynn, my theory is - If you wait a decade to use the stamps, surely that means they are surely free stamps, right?

Oh, how wonderful to have plans for using the space... and finding treasures in the process. I'd come help you, if I could.

I'd come too Lynn. Too bad Tx is so far away and I don't fly so it woul be a really long trip. Lol How fun that you and Jeanette have found great treasures. Jeanette the decision is a hard one when it comes to purging.

Cloudy day again. But that just means I can craft so it's ok.

Today I will be shopping for a Father's Day wheelbarrow for my 90 year old dad. I hope I can get more of a wagon with 4 wheels. Also need to get another birthday goody or two for my birthday girl (youngest granddaughter turned 21 this week.) We will all be celebrating together Friday - Sunday!

I need to start planning meals and packing in groceries!

Hello Paper-Loving Inky Friends!

Lynn, what a great day you'll have, celebrating your dad and your DGD... and bearing gifts, too!

Susan, oh how true! I have such a difficult time purging the things in my play room. But it must be done.... so onward I go.

Waving to Shelly and Kelly, both who have their arms full of sweet baby-ness, I'm guessing. ;)

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Jeanette!

I have two goals this morning before I head off to breakfast with my friends: clear up my crafting space and finish the laundry. Unfortunately the crafting space exploded over into the dining room, as well.

Can't wait to see your cloudy day creations, Susan!! I know they will be something remarkable!!

Kelly and Shelly, I know you are enjoying your time with those precious babies!!

I hope your reorganization is going well. I am thinking of purging most of my Stampin' Up sets. I'll hang on to just the ones that are some of my go-to sets.

Lynn, isn't it funny how those explosions happen? Who would have thought it, right???

I've purged many older SU sets, too.

Wow....90yr olds still push wheelbarrow's? Omg...i envision someone 90 trying to push one and end up falling inside it. Hope he carries a cell so he can do the "I've fallen and I can't get up" call. Just teasing......so nice to see someone that age still active. Gives us hope. Enjoy your celebrations with family. (My craft room always ends up in the dining room...how does that happen) heeheehee

I think the only purging of stamps that would be hard for me Jeanette would be word/sentiment stamps. I think I onlynown 3 Stampin up stamp sets and use them rarely because they're not words. In fact I can only remember that 1 set is Lovely as a tree. When does DH and 3rd get back home? Bet you mis them by now.

Kelly, Shelly...keep hugging those babies. They grow faster than our own kids did..I swearbits true!

Packing up to leave tomorrow. Talk later.

Hi friends!

I keep missing the chatter, so good thing I'm a jabber box and can happily talk to myself! LOL! When I'm here, it's echoes ...... I leave and ya'll all come to play! Woohoo!

Jeanette, oh how I don't envy the purging - I just did that and it's so freeing yet time consuming! I was able to sell a lot and really paired down what was reasonable. Some I will never let go of! Susan, same - I rarely use Stampin' Up - in fact, it's my least used company anymore. But who just got the new catalog and who just placed a nice order? ME! LOL! So go figure!

Oh Lynn, good luck about the decision on the room! And the wheelbarrel - aw dad!
I would love more room and wonder if my kids will ever move out! Not that I'm in a hurry, but we're definitely cramped in here!)

I'm about to turn the shed into a 'she shed' like Sheryl! LOL!!

I spoke to The Kid last night! He's enjoying camp but is exhausted - you can tell how tired he is is from gabbing all night (hmm, who's son is he?!) and enjoying his brothers!! And all the activities!

Waving to all ....... lots to do before Friday here!

I asked DH if I could have a "She Shed" like Sheryl and he said "sure do what you can with the lean to that holds our firewood up here at the cabin. Geeze I guess I'm not getting a she shed she shear.😂😂😂😂

She Shed mania has arrived in the Paper Loving Inky group???

Giggling!

I do not want a She Shed... it would be too far from Brock and no telling what he'd find to eat if I wasn't watching. LOL!

Speaking of which... we've reached a new level. You know he loves to graze... but you might not know he's a bit sloppy about it (visualize cracker crumbs on the floor). BUT now he's started going to get the broom/dustpan and cleaning it up without being told. It's so cute... how can I fuss that he's grazing???

Oh and just so you don't feel bad for me not having/getting a She Shed, I am very lucky - my Play Room is literally the largest room in the house. ;)

Default Hello

Hi!!! I am keeping up reading on my phone, just hate answering on it cause of the typing on the phone!!!

We joke about a she shed, we have been talking about downsizing for a while.... I have to have space for crafting supplies..... a she shed or an extra bedroom..... We have not actually looked at any places yet..... but, hubby would like a place here. We could live in a much smaller space, the more you have, the more junk you accumulate...

Kelly, hope you are getting your snuggles in!!! And, some stamping as well!!!

I think I need to get on cleaning out my stamp room once I am back. It’s just that so many of the sets are unused! I bought SU sets to support a friend, and don’t use them too much anymore. The sale I was putting them in has not been held this time... I do not know the best way to purge.

Jeanette, it has to be a bit like Christmas to find unused stamps- wahoo! $1 unmounted stamps is quite the deal!!!

Lynn- looking forward to seeing your samples! Fun to clean up and get new furniture! Enjoy your time with friends!

Susan- hoping you get warmer weather for the lake & that everyone feels back to normal!!!

I am cooking up a storm, making freezer dinners- meatloaf & tortilla soup so far. I cooked chicken in the crock pot for the soup, and a bit too much. I’ll be searching for a recipe for gluten free shredded chicken.... something to make!!!

Resting with feet up a bit. I have been doing a lot of walking per doctors orders! My son lives close to downtown, so I go out & explore a bit. The downtown is only 2-3 blocks long, so walking there & around the blocks.

Have a fabulous day!!!
Shelly

ROFL, Susan! The lean-to - oh my gosh, I almost peed my pants, LOL! My dh is cleaning out the sheds (we just had a MASSIVE garage sale with all that was in it - 15 years worth of JUNK!) so I looked it and said hmmmm. He said you can have the small shed but be forewarned, Florida has palmetto bugs!

Say. no. more!

Shuddering!

Jeanette, how blessed you are! When I had a craft room, it was the 2nd largest

I say we all head to the play room!!!!

Hi Shel! Take it easy, gramma! It sounds like you are enjoying the best of both worlds - baby, vacation, walking, sights!

Yay for Brock! I wouldn't complain about his grazing either. Lol.
Yeah I really don't "need" a she shed. My craft room is the largest bedroom in our house. Plus I'm in competition with hobby lobby as to who has then most stock. I'm gonna say ME! LOL

Oops missed Shelly and Kelly. Sorry.
Kelly you can keep your bugs. Yuck....not a fan. Which is kinda funny seeing how i live in the woods in illinois and woods and beach front up north. No lack of bugs by me but florida has bugs on steroids....no thankyou. Hee hee
Omg Shelly you have been busy! How wonderful for the new growing family to get some mom made meals waiting for them in the freezer. I feel your pain answering by typing on the phone. Same issue with tablet. One letter at a time ughhh. Lol
Did I mention to you all him heading home tomorrow? Got a huge list of things to pick up and bring back up here next Wed.
Bye for now

Shelly, it's so good to see you... taking a break from cooking up a storm to chat with us. ;) I'm sure the new parents will greatly appreciate your efforts once you go home!

Kelly, I hope it didn't sound like I was gloating. Oh my! That was not my intent. Truthfully all the rooms in our teeny tiny house are small. Mine is a converted one-car carport which makes it an add-on... but I'm so glad they added it on. Otherwise, I'd not have a corner to craft in. Most of the rooms are so small.

Susan, YAY! Home soon... for just a wee bit. I'm sure you've said, but I forget... how long of a drive is it for you between home and the cabin?

Yay for the cabin and big craft rooms and baby snuggles and wheelbarrels!

Happy Friday!

Enjoy your day - whatever it holds!

I'll be off to Walmart in a few for provisionals - can I tell you how much I detest going there! come to Miami and go to one. Just once. You'll see why! I already need a valium and I haven't even left yet, ROFL!

Sunday we're heading to West Palm Beach - should be interesting! My daughter is heading to see an Estate Sale - very dear friend of hers - the grandma - and be a support and I'm going shopping and to the beach and lunch ON the beach! Anyone want to join me?

Default Hello

Lol, my hubby & son’s love language- is food!!!!! Chris is actually the family cook : ). He will appreciate having a few dinners ready. He is working 12 hour nights, and does 3 in a row generally. He worked 3, headed to Portland for a bachelor party, works 3 when he gets back- starting the night he gets back. He is going to be exhausted!!!
Baby cuddles are so sweet!!! I did it ALOT yesterday: )

Kelly- the beach sounds amazing, wish I could be there!!! I will have to google Palmetto bugs... not sure what they are. I really like going to estate sales! Are you shopping the estate sale, or other places?

Susan, looks like a warmup is coming thru our area, so hoping your return to the cabin has nicer weather! Bugs do not bother me too much ( as long as they are outside) except spiders.....

Jeanette, does Brock ever stamp or color with you? Does he play video games?

Lynn, I imagine your company is coming soon! Are you loving the new furniture???

Hope you all have a fabulous day!!!

Shelly

Hello Paper-Loving Inky Friends!

Shelly, I'm sure you're enjoying every single baby snuggle! Cooking can wait when he's wanting snuggles, right?

No, Brock doesn't color or stamp; nor play video games. He loves word search puzzles... and most of his time at home is spent watching the same VHS videos he's watched for years, rocking in his big man chair, and of course grazing, doing chores, and such.

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have missed so much of all this fun chatter. She shed she said!! In the future maybe I will build one - a huge crafty cave with a tiny bed and kitchen in the corner! Yes!!! But I know I will never rival Susan and Hobby Lobby!

What a fun story about Brock, Jeanette. Now, if I could just teach myself to follow along with that broom and clean up after myself, I would have it made.

Would I EVER love to be on the beach with you Sunday having lunch, Kelly!! Although I am also a huge fan of estate sales.

My freezer meals are almost gone, Shelly! Time to schedule another day of cooking! And yes, I am loving my new furniture. The two recliners are my favorite. One sits like a dream and the other is heavenly for napping!!

I did get the wheelbarrow, kind of! I found a two wheeled cart that will be much more stable. Like Susan, I pictured all of those falling adventures. His other gift- the hurrycane!

My son and I are up early this morning and will be going up the block to pick up everyone's favorite breakfast taco. The place used to be called Swamp Meat but recently changed to Tac-o-licious and we are big fans.

Wishing you all a fabulous and fun weekend!

Hello Paper-Loving Inky Friends!

Ladies, maybe we could introduce Monday to our hobby!?!?!

Lynn, we don't think alike in regards to Brock's story... you want to be inspired to clean up after yourself while I want to teach him to clean the whole house. Just imagine, with his clean up tendencies, the house would be spotless all the time if I could teach him to clean it all. ;)

No breakfast burritos for me... I don't do sausage and I don't do eggs. (My mom makes breakfast burritos regularly - and I politely decline having one.)

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had two guests just like you, Jeanette. No eggs, no sausage. One had potato, cheese, bacon while the other had bean, bacon, potato, and cheese. EVERYONE went away happy!!

It was a sensational weekend, and I hope all left happy and tired. I know I was!!

Today will be a laundry and crafting day. If I didn't have to go outside to bring in the garbage can, I would probably stay in my pjs all day!!

If Brock could get excited about cleaning the whole house, he could probably earn a good bit of pocket change around the neighborhood! LOL!! I know I would be most happy for him to come visit me!

Good morning, Kelly, Shelly, and Susan!! Are you up yet?

Oh, Lynn... I might like a potato/cheese/bacon one. ;)

Yep... our trash can needs to be brought back from the curb today too - but Brock will do that. It's one of his regular chores and he does NOT like it when someone else does it.

Tomorrow will be laundry/crafting day for me - plus I have a meeting in the morning. Today I'm going to purge/organize some more and make a card or two as well.

So Jeanette your still purging? You go girl! Don't make those trash cans too heavy or Brock won't want to do his trash duty. lol
I'm gonna do it...I'm gonna do it...I'm gonna do it. It has been a ton of years since I did it last but I am sooooo ready. I'm getting rid of all of it. I have way too much and it's always all over the floor. It's in nearly every room and I hate gathering it up and putting it where it belongs. I bet I won't even miss 90% of it when it's gone.Do I have your attention????? lol
Lynn sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. And hey....I'd put the trash out in my pj's. I mean it not like I'm still wearing "Baby Doll" jammies...hahahaha

Kelly can we get a video of your Walmart adventure??? Sounds like it could be amusing! Have fun at the Estate sale. I love those.
Shelly so nice that your still enjoying baby cuddle times. When do you get back home?
Today I will be re-packing and then organizing the stuff in the van for our return trip to the cabin. I think we are leaving early Wed. morning. Grandkids were her yesterday and they are super excited that they will be up there too on friday.
Well like I said above today I'm gonna do it. I have myself ready and putting on a brave face. I know once its done there is no turning back for quite a while. But hey it grows right? Confused????
I am getting all this LONG hair cut off! Yes all of it. At the moment it lays below the bra strap in the middle of my back and I am going in for a Pixie! Yep I will be saving time washing and drying, $$$$$ on a million products, energy from sweeping up all the hair I leave all over the place, I will save space from all the empty produts and hair that I throw into the trash. I'm kind of hoping it will make me 10 pounds lighter too. lol I am seriously going short like Lynn today at 5pm. If I do not return....better call out the Coast Guard! heeheehee

I know you would love your breakfast taco, Jeanette!!

Susan, how exciting about your new do!! I am currently letting mine grow into a tiny bit longer shag just to get rid of the spikes and maybe cover my BIG ears a bit, but everyone else will still consider it short!! The time and effort is zero to get it ready to go! I hope you will love your like I love mine!

I am mainly worried that my mother will see me out on the street in my jammies. She didn't raise us to not get up, get dressed and get going. She would never say anything to me, but will tell everyone else she knows how disappointed she is in my habits! LOL!!
