Hello everyone! John Chapman, AKA Johnny Appleseed, and I have two things in common…our birthday, which we celebrated earlier this week (of course he would be much older), and a love of apples. Help us celebrate by including an apple (or any fruit if you have no apple stamps) on your card. Can't wait to see your fruity creations!
After you upload your card with the keyword WT603, come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card.
Here are some apple-icious samples for your inspiration:
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Had fun adding a pumpkin, squash, apple, corn and acorn border for my background to my Halloween card, with a tag for my sentiment. Did a bit of stitching for texture. Here's Fall Scene

Thanks, Cathy, and Happy birthday to you! There was a pretty good book that I read recently where Johnny Appleseed was one of the characters that you might enjoy called At The Edge of the Orchard by Tracy Chevalier.
Fun challenge, Cathy. Happy Birthday!
I didn't realize that I have so many apple stamps. Since I haven't inked my Country Apple set in a long time, I picked it (pun intended). It gave me a chance to update a cute idea I used a long, long time ago.
