Default My tale of woe...

Looking for Sympathy...Not gonna lie...
yesterday I made a baby card with my SU Zoo Babies set. Made my usual
mess. When I cleaned up... the darling little lion was no where to be found.
I have searched everywhere. He's gone on his own safari...:

I will definitely sympathize! When those stamps hit the floor there is no telling where they will bounce to! Make sure it isn't sticking to paper or you could accidentally toss it in the trash! Did you have other sets out? I've also put stamps in the wrong case!

I can sympathize. I have found missing stamps in the most unlikely places. I've even found them in the hall or another room, they must have stuck to clothing or a shoe then fell off later. I suggest inspecting your clothes and hamper before doing laundry and keeping an eagle eye when you next vacuum.

Oh, how frustrating!

I once used the tiniest clear stamp and lost it just after having lunch. I finally found it clinging desperately to the trashbag liner in the kitchen trash can - AFTER I had removed and shaken out every piece of trash, including gloppy Chinese food containers and ychhy paper towels.

So there is hope for your adventurous little lion.

I hear ya!!! I blame the ghosts that inhabit my studio!!! They are full of tricks ..or full of something anyway. Things disappear right under my nose and re-appear a week later in the middle of the carpet!! Go figure!! Hope your stamp returns soon.

That's so sad! Maybe he'll get tired of being on safari & come home! He's not photopolymer, right? He'll hopefully be easy to spot.

Naughty lion!

Wait until dark, then find yourself an LED flashlight. I have found tiny things I've dropped (I do it all the time) on my hardwood floor using my trusty Dollar Store flashlight.

Good Luck!

Check the bottoms of any stamp cases you had on your work surface, I've had those little devils stick to the cases! Or even the bottoms of your stamp pads. Hope you find it!

Oh boy-almost ironic given your sig line! (hunt-safari)

Did you seal the card in the envie yet? Look inside it. Or where you keep the ink pads. Maybe he hitched a ride on that. Be careful how you take your bra off tonight. Did you have drink glass on the table? Check that. Stamps stick to the oddest things given how we have to use special blocks for them.

So frustrating! Hope you find him soon!

I came THIS close to losing two super teeny tiny stamps in a new Lawn fawn set I just set up in storage 2 days ago. I stepped on one on the rug and at this point I check everything I step on instantly. I mean that thing is like 1/16th-I dont even know how they made it. Funny enough-it is a baby set!

Oh, I do sympathise as this often happens to me. Believe it or not, I once lost a whole card! I had put it aside to dry after adding glitter glue to some flowers and busily worked on another card. It was for my mother's birthday & I was taking it over to her place the next day. Went to pick up the card on my desk but it was gone! I couldn't believe it! Figured it would just be on the floor but I searched everywhere & nearly went nuts. Fast-forward about 2 years and when I was reaching into my cardstock folder, I felt something lumpy and it was THE CARD! And it was still OK so I gave it to my mother for her birthday that year. Now, I had been in that cardstock folder many, many times as it holds my most-used colours so why I hadn't found it before just bewilders me. I am not suggesting that your little lion will go on Safari for 2 years but it will turn up when you least expect it!

Default Lion tales...

The lion is still missing...I'm sure it will turn where and when I least expect it.
I will have forgotten about it...
My diamond fell out of my engagement ring... Happened to look at my hand and it was gone.. We were at our son's
Band concert... My husband happened to look under my seat and there it was.
A few years later I was at work. Looked at my hand, diamond gone again. Searched everywhere... My co worker found it In the restroom... Then
I was in my car when I noticed the diamond was gone again. Tore apart the car.. Nothing... Months went by and I was just sick about it. A year later I was sweeping the stairs going into the basement. I saw something shiny ( almost dismissed it as glitter or a rhinestone, but I bent down and picked it up. It was my diamond. I had swept those steps many times in that year and the diamond wasn't there. I think of it as a miracle of sorts. I have since had it set in a necklace.

I feel I must share my lost and found Saga. I shared my Diamond stories. I now have another Diamond story to tell. A couple of weeks ago my husband, I and 2 other couples when to an outdoor concert in Detroit. My friend and I were talking and I happened to look down at my hand. My diamond was gone. We had been to the bathroom in the Ren Cen, and had been up dancing. I was sick and panicked at the same time. My friend grabbed her phone and l was looking around with the flashlight. I yelled to my husband who did not hear me. I stood up to go tell him. I happened to look in my chair and there was the diamond. I was beside myself with relief!! The ring is insured. But that was not the point. I am a lucky girl!I have been having some health Issues. Had a CT scan and had an appointment with a specialist on 8-29. Picked up the CT report and it was not normal. I am not a medical professional so I did what I always tell people not to do... went online and diagnosed myself with cancer. I called the specialists office on Monday to see if they had any cancellations... once again I lucked out. The Dr could see me that afternoon.
I was getting together to stamp with a couple of friends that morning. I went downstairs and starting packing my bag. I went to grab a couple of stamp pads and what do you know I found my little lion stamp. I told myself I'm a lucky girl and God always seems to help me when I need it and boy I knew I needed his help for my Dr appointment. I also thought finding the Lion was a good sign.
Went to the Dr. I don't have Cancer. That's what I get for self Diagnosing.
Sorry this post is so long winded. I've come to these conclusions.
Never Look symptoms up on the internet (you'll always see the very worst thing it could possibly be and you probably don"t have that)
Put your faith in God he'll always see you through.

This is very encouraging. I am having issues as well. I did a overnight sleep study Saturday, a MRI Sunday, and the dr has ordered a 3 day eeg next week. This is worrying as no one has told me anything and I don't understand why all this is necessary since no results have been shared.

bdeyes: My doc specfically told me NOT to look up stuff on the internet when I had cancer-ask him all the Qs I want to. But dont scare the P outta myself on the net.

Glad the lion showed up. You and diamonds seem to have issues...pick another stone! lol

Leona-as the patient you have every right to know why they are testing you. Insist on being told.
