I'm not sure! But you could definitely sub from White Christmas, Festival of Trees or with masking, one of the trees in the row of bare trees from Lovely as a Tree. It's a 2013 card, though, so there's no point in considering anything later than that. Blog post: http://www.jaydeestamping.com/weblog...ry-monday
Thank you. I tried clicking over to her blog but it wasn't working earlier today for some reason. Wish I would have seen this earlier, I just placed my first order with PTI earlier this week.

The link didn't work for me either. I just backspaced in the address bar to get her blog homepage, and then did a search for "winter wishes". I guess the pinner saved it as something that could be CASEd with Holiday Home, because the house is PTI too.
Thanks Vic and Mary! I guess the legs go behind it! I was trying to line them up on the front. A friend gave me this die and some small mft dies (cowboy hat, cowboy boot, star, and horseshoe).
I'm wondering how you know this is a knock-off? I've tried a search and what comes up is KSCRAFTS and **********.com. are they the ones creating the knock offs or might they be the "real" creaters you are speaking of? I'm not stamp savvy so I wouldn't know a knock off...
Well, I don't know for CERTAIN that it's a knock-off, but at that price, and so cute, I want to be sure I'm not inadvertently getting a set that was copied from the original designer.
I have purchased stuff from **********, but I search for it first to see if it's a copy. Like I mentioned, I have gotten dies that are basic shapes. Once I got a set of dies and then found out it was a Sizzix copy. I try harder to find out first these days.
My reverse image search came up circling back to **********, but someone here may recognize it.

********** exists to counterfeit. It's terrible. There's not any original creator selling stamps or dies there, I'd bet my life on that.
My first thought was, "It looks like Penny Black". But I don't remember sheep like that, just cows and chickens. Just reminds me of their really humorous animals.

I had never heard of Ali Express, but this made me go look. It looks like every single one is a different store (or seller); I dont know. So youre saying that they take a known artists/ companys catalog, and basically reproduce them for cheap?
It's the Chinese equivalent of eBay, so yes, it is individual sellers. And a lot of them, unfortunately, don't care about copyright.

Hi, I would like to ID the REAL stamp set that this knock-off is copying:
I am not opposed to buying basic shapes from China, but this is someone's ART. Who's art? Where can I get the real thing?
Thanks in advance.
Found this on etsy but says shipped from china and it's $8.99 I know not much help. Just want to let you know I am trying to help you out too!
found another set that includes dies from etsy shipped from England states made in china.

Thanks. I didn't see it on the Penny Black site, nor did a Google image search of Penny Black Sheep come up with it. I'll keep looking.
If I can't find it after 3 weeks or so, is it unethical to purchase the knock-off?
This is just my personal observation/opinon... some of the items for sale appear to be retired items that we can no longer find/buy here unless you happen across someone selling it. I couldn't find the sheep stamps you are looking at anywhere either, so couldn't even say those are retired. It sure looks like someone's original art work, but who and where to buy it? If I can't find it from the artist, I go ahead and buy it on **********. (I've never purchased a stamp set from **********, but have bought dies and other items). The quality of the stamps from China is not the same as US made, but at those prices, is that an issue? Another thought... every product that comes into this country must be marked with country of origin... and you will note, many stamps/dies that are sold here say "Made in China". I'm guessing the quality of stamps from ********** is the same as the other stamps sold here that are made there. In reality, many products (all kinds) today are made in China. My personal choice is to buy American made whenever I can... just some items you can't find that. I'm currently trying to replace my 30 year old American made bird bath heater. I found an American made one on Amazon... then noticed it said - delivery time 1-2 months. WHAT? That's like delivery time from China. (I did find another supplier and can get it in a week). To me, this is something each person has to decide on their own on what to buy from where. Obviously, as crafters, we want to respect original art... Sometimes we just can't find the original artists. Again, just my personal thoughts. ~ Mary
Does anyone remember who makes a die set that is a trio of Peeps in a row that has 3 separate bunny tails, 3 face details and 6 ear details dies? ( I thought it was lil' inker designs, but. I cannot find it in their site, google images or my evernote file..
( I have also looked at Simon Says Stamp & Frantic Stamper)
I dug this out of the drawer for the first time today and I have no clue how long I have had it. Will add a link to the gallery so you can see how it cuts. ( this is a thin die set not steel ruled)
