We call ours the W.I.N.O.S. - Women In Need of Stamps. We meet once a month for happy hour and show each other our cards. We've been friends for more than 15 years.
I dubbed ours The CARDiologists! We love it and it causes others who hear our name to laugh! We even had necklaces made to say cardiologist on each!
I was caught off guard one day when someone asked me to meet with them and I said I couldn't that I had a cardiology meeting that day. The gal said "YOU have a cardiologist?" I realized how that had sounded to her so I said, " I have nine of them!" She gasped! Then I explained and we both had a great laugh.
Also the group will sometimes make one card and all sign it. On the back where Hallmark puts their logo, we put "This card was handmade by the Cardiologists. Cardiologists on duty were: and we each sign our names on the back too in tiny print.
It was announced that our group was present at a local function and everyone laughed and loved our name at that too!
It gives us HEART for what we do!
Feel free to try our name on for size with your group!
These are some great names! Love it. My business name is Inkyfigers1. Had to use the one because Inkyfingers was taken in blog land. My sign off on my blog usually has something like this: you know you having a great day if you have INKYFINGERS! But I really love the Cardiologists. That is cute. My friend thinks I should sign my cards with KEEPSAKES or something like that. Well back to blogland.
Our club is called RLCC Retired Ladies Card Club. Not that we are all of that age, just that we meet during the day in the middle of the work week and we don't have young children. Great group of ladies that started gathering about seven years ago. We are addicted to card making, yet friendship is the largest goal. Thank you ladies for all you give to the club.
Our stamp club (Stamps 'R Us) has been meeting monthly here in Henry County IL for about 20 years. My husband called us "The Henry County Rubber Slappers". We currently have about 12 active members and always welcome newcomers. We meet on the 2nd Wed. of the month at 9:30 am at a local church (Orion, IL)
I was in a stamp club here in Memphis named "Rollin' On the Rubber" for Rollin on the River. We had so many husbands object to the name, that we changed the name to River City Stampers. Thought you might get a laugh out of this.
Hey Teachybay..............we call our group Card Sharks too!! Great minds think alike right?

We call ourselves the CB's. That stands for Cardmakin' Babes. Originally, when we were working (most of us at the same place) we were the CB's but that was for the Coffee Babes. It just transitioned so well. Of course, along the way, CB stood for a whole lot of other names.... All in fun. There are now a dozen of us and we've been stamping and laughing together for maybe 15 years.
I use to be a part on one we called the Inky Finger Society!
