Challenge Title: For a Special Lady
Hostess: Kathy (scs Kathleen Curry)
Keyword: CAS376
Date: Week of May 9, 2016
With Sunday being Mother's Day, many of us are probably making and mailing cards either for our mom, grandmom or another special lady in our lives. I would love to see some cards this week either for moms or special women in our lives. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
1.There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS376 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
And the FAVE from last week's challenge is: Hobydujour with this gorgeous card
CAS376 this challenge called for the women in our lives, I thought this card would go perfectly with this challenge, I love the lady drinking her coffee in deep thoughts.

Just saw it.....Thank you for selecting my card last week as a FAV. I always consider CAS one of the hardest styles...so this is a real thrill. Hugs, sallie
Made for my dear daughter who is visiting- and likes owls. Went with happy colors, and an owl from my stamping buddies. Finished with a dotted fabric strip.
Here's Whoo Loves You?

Kept it simple with a double bow as an embellishment and a simple scalloped circle shape- paper pieced my botanical style grapes image. For a friend who loves purples and greens- and I just finished a book based on a vineyard's growing cycles. Here's Sunny Day Grapes

I recently told a friend of mine that my mom got totally screwed in the daughter department! I have made very nice cards for her the past several years, but neglected to write in them and send them. WELL, this year I actually mailed this one.....not on time for Mother's Day, but hey baby steps!
Thanks for the fun challenge. I already made and mailed my Mothers Day card, so since it needs to be something new I made a thank you card for a friend.
Here's my card (actually tag!) for a special lady in my life:
