Default MINC Question

I received a MINC (Anna Griffin) for Christmas and just getting around to play with it. I absolutely love it. However, I wanted a specific color of foil that I can't find anywhere.... BROWN (for vintagy look)... I did find Tim Holtz/Ranger foil sheets has a Vintage set, including the brown. But they way they use those sheets nothing indicates they use it with the MINC. Has anybody used them in the MINC and did it work ???? Before I go buy some, I'd like to find out. Thanks! Happy Mardi Gras!

Ranger's foil is adhered with glue, not with heat. You can read about it here: Ranger Shiny Foil Transfer Sheets | Ranger Ink and Innovative Craft Products.

Personally, I won't run any foil through my Minc unless the foil is specifically designed to be applied with heat (i.e. toner or heat-reactive foil).

You can do a google search for 'toner reactive foil' or 'heat reactive foil' and then check out the suppliers in the search results to see if any of them have brown colored foil.

Even if they don't carrier brown, maybe they can point you to a company that does.

HTH.

I used the Ranger foil sheets with my laminator, and they worked pretty well.
