I know deer are out in the winter, because while driving through the Tahoe Mountains one year, a huge buck like this one came to my window and licked my hand! It was an awesome moment!

Misti- totally needed a gift card holder, so I used a re purposed library checkout card envelope, along with a dc fox, and houses and a tree from SU's Home for the holidays. Added a tag/button/twine combo and some gingham ribbon. Here's Foxy Gift Card

This critter on a holiday card challenge is addictive, Misti. I hit the stamp room today and what did I make? More critter cards....this one for Thanksgiving.

Obviously I liked this challenge bc I'm still doing it weeks later!
It was just opening weekend for deer hunting season in Missouri which is a holiday in itself to many around here. One of my favorite young ladies I work with is an avid hunter and also celebrates her birthday at this time so it is certainly her day to celebrate so I made this card to cover them both for her.
