CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 11/1/15
Hi, my inky friends. Welcome to November, one of my favorite months of the year. Well, except for the squirrels that have, apparently, again decided to take up residence in the crawl space above my apartment. They're cute as can be when they are frolicking outside, but if they aren't helping to pay the rent, they've got to be evicted. Hoping animal control makes it out this week before they get toooooo cozy. But I digress - you didn't come here for squirrel stories (well, I don't think you did!). You came here to talk CAS Favorites, so let's get started!
Here are some great CAS cards that jumped into my Favorites this week - check them out, leave the artists a little love (if you haven't already) and let us know which were your favorite CAS posts this week.
HYCCT1518 Thankful Poppies by kyann22 I always find black, white and a pop of color a classy look, particularly on a CAS card. Rita's poppy card is a great example. And the font style/size complements her flower perfectly.
HYCCT1527 Got Your Back by catluvr2 Priscilla posted this "crazy bird" card early this week. I'm still chuckling when I look at it. So absolutely colorful and fun!
Autumn Fritillaria by akeptlife I was taken right away with the warm colors of Jeanne's card. While she has layers, she kept the design clean and simple.
Dove of Peace - Holiday Catalog Image by UnderstandBlue I fell in love with Lydia's red dove card as soon as I spotted it in the gallery. The last time she made a card with it, I bought the stamp. Guess now I'm going to have to pull it out and use it!
Butterfly Thanks by Kimpletekreativity *** NEW-TO-ME-STAMPER *** Kimberly's butterfly card could not be more beautiful - classic layout, fresh colors, great font. It's a keeper!!
Flamingo Christmas by Kimpletekreativity Also by Kimberly - can ya ever really look at a flamingo and not smile? Especially when decked out for the holidays and colored so exquisitely!
Hello. B/W and Rainbow by ScrappinNavyWife *** NEW-TO-ME-STAMPER *** Really, I'm not overly enamored with birds. And yet, even with 2 bird cards already on my favorites list, I still had to include this fun, colorful feathered flock. I really like the look Nikki got by combining neutral greys and bright colors.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.

I am really late to the party (just seeing Karen's reminder in my comments-thank you for that) but I want to thank Lisa (Shoe Girl) for mentioning my card...you really made my day! It was a fun card to make (love those DeNami chicks!) and such a worthy cause!
