VSBN15May16 - Color My World - Progressive Scrap - Task 4
Title: Color Me Progressive 4 - Final
Hostess: Wendy (scs: wendella247 )
Keyword: VSBN15May16
Date: May 30, 2015
Welcome to Our Celebration of
(inter)National Scrapbooking Day (all month long!) Welcome to May VSBN! Welcome to our Progressive Challenge Task #4
Thank you to everyone who has been playing along with this progressive challenge. If you havent started your page yet, its not too late, but youll need to begin with Task 1here.
If you already have Tasks 1-3 done, then Im guessing you must be here to add the final touches to your page, so lets go!
Task 4:
Add some scatter somewhere on your page. To scatter something is to throw loosely about; distribute at irregular intervals. Scatters can be beads, sprinkles, sequins, glitter, snowflakes, confetti, little hearts or stars, etc., etc. . Its easy to put scatters on a digi page. It will take a little more creativity for our traditional scrappers, but Im confident that all of our talented scrappers will figure out a way to add some scatter to their pages. (Although I didnt use it for this layout, I actually even have a digi element in my stash for dogkibble scatter!)
Add a cluster of 3 or more embellishments somewhere on your page. I tucked part of my cluster under some of the photos, but youre welcome to place your cluster any place on your page.
If youre a digi scrapper, be sure youve added shadows where appropriate.
And thats it! You now have a completed page! Thanks for joining us this month, and I do hope you had fun.. TrishG will be our host for June, and well be back to posting the Progressive Challenge on Tuesdays.
1. To be considered for VSBN Recognition, ALL VSBN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00PM EST ON Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
Youll probably want to first save your page in its original version to maintain your layers, so you'll still be able to make changes/additions to your page in the future, if desired.
Save your page for the web as a .jpg (600x600 or less) & upload to the Gallery. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD:VSBN15May16 when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your layout is seen by the host and all visitors.
Ok, you said we could start now, and I have been thinking about it. But the problem is I am not a digi scrapper and it is not easy to have photos that size. They are all 4x6, and I know I can cut them down, but not that little! So am playing around to see what I can do. . Thank you Wendy for hostessing the Progressive Challenge.
Sharon, I know it's not always easy to adapt a digi challenge when you're a traditional scrapper. Maybe you can change the number of photos, but keep them in the same general side of the layout. Don't worry about it too much, just have fun!
Just wanted to share the matching page that I made for this one today.
I didn't follow these exact instructions, but I tweaked the page and it matches the one I made for this challenge previously.
