Default Using StazOn with photopolymer sets

Hi! I just have a quick question. I thought I read somewhere that you shouldn't use stazon stamp cleaner with photopolymer stamps. I think it said it is too harsh. I just got two new SU holiday sets and don't want to damage them. Is this true?

It has been my experience that Stazon ink is fine to use but Stazon CLEANER will make your stamps gummy and break them down. Once my stamps have touched ink I know they will never be clear again so it doesn't bother me to have the black ink stain on the stamp itself. I just use Stampin Mist to clean off the extra and I'm good to go.

Exactly what Janeyrocket says! The ink won't do any harm to your stamps- I've used it on photopolymers that are 10 or more years old now, and they are still fine, it is the cleaner thats the problem, and not only for your stamps, but it ruins your acrylic blocks too. As long as you don't mind stained stamps, you are ok. I just wipe over with a baby wipe.
