Has anyone tried to make liners for white envelopes with the punch board? Just curious before I plunk down cash for liner dies, I thought I'd ask the experts!
Well I answered my own question! Just went to Youtube and found Cristina Thomas (think she's an SU demo?) and found her video on how to make a liner for the A2 sized card. The only thing I will have to tweak is how to make that liner squared off since I use premade envelopes that have a square flap.

Fyi...the su envelope liner dies do not work well with envelopes made on the punch board. They are different shapes/sizes. There are lots of videos on other things you can also make with the envelope liner dies though.....so they are quite versatile.

Thanks Ladies. I did make it work pretty well. The directions I found on YouTube worked, I just had to figure out where precisely to cut off the pointed part since my envelopes have a square flap...did end up looking pretty good.
Thanks for this thread. I look forward to making liners with my new toy, but today I looked through some more of France's videos and ended up making a couple of boxes for cards along with their envelopes. Envelope Punch Board Box and Envelope Punch Board Box 2
Mary's tutorial makes me want to start lining all my envelopes now--love how she gets so much mileage out of such a small square of paper! Of course, with my accumulated paper stash, I don't think I will run out anytime soon
I just watched both of these videos and I think I like Frenchie's measurements a little better. Her video is a little harder to follow, but I love her cute accent.
Yes, I loved Mary's video, and it works great if you're using the envelope punch board to make your envelopes. I make cards for OWH and there is a "no homemade envelope" policy so I buy my envelopes, which have a square flap. I've had to come up with my own tweaks to make it work on those. It does require more paper wasting, but it works!
This may have solved my problem! I ran out of envelopes and didn't order anymore since I recently bought the SU Envelope Punch Board. I have been using copier paper to make my envelopes and they seem a little thin. I never thought of putting a liner in it!
Thanks for the idea ladies!
