oh its probably easier to find mug shots of mine on the blog because, there are keywords on the side... but, I tend to upload in batches so ones that stay studio there could be cards in the post too.

Good Afternoon everyone!

Jeanette, I hope you have loads of fun and lots of happy memories with your family. My DD is home from college and we have been planning and going junkin' together as she collects furniture and home goods for her first apartment. She plans to live off campus next year. The best part is that she likes antiques so we have had a blast finding treasures in antique shops and secondhand shops.

I have scoured Stacy's blog several times. I love to get ideas from looking at other peoples craft places. She has a wonderful garden too!

I have to drive about 80 miles to see a craft store so I also stock up when I go shopping. Yesterday I stocked up on some adhesive for paper and my egg ornaments. Okay so I picked up some glass beads for my egg ornaments too. Michaels had 80% off Martha Stewart Jewelry supplies. I couldn't pass that up! It's funny, when I travel, I take rest stops according to where the craft stores are located along my journey. A girl has gotta follow her heart you know and keep a well stocked happy place! ;)

I took pictures of the paper last night. Unfortunately I forgot the SD reader at home so I can't upload them.

same here... If I get up and get going ( slept in today) we will do the out to breakfast ritual then run to the butchers ( the cow is ready for pick up) ( we are dividing this one between employees on Tuesday) and couple other pit stops and I am STILL making Christmas cards... ( I am getting them in the mail, handmade ones from people I have never sent them to before) and I need thank-you cards again too.

Jeanette, your living room sounds wonderful!

I am stamping as soon as I get a chance. I have not been able to play in 3 weeks. Withdrawal is setting in. I still have to finish one gift so later today I hope to work on it. I am thinking that next weekend and New Years day may be good candidates for play days!
Stacy, that cow sounds yummy! Hubby is butchering chickens today and later I get to cut them up and vacuum seal them. Then there is bone broth to me made too! I wish I were stamping instead.

GOOD MORNING, STAMPERS!

I'm thinking Jeanette is enjoying spending time with her kids this a.m.! I'm still thinking about my goals for this thread. I do believe I can do 100 by 100 although probably not one a day. ;) I'm getting inspired just by reading all your comments. I think I just may be able to post a card on New Year's Day. We have been invited to attend a birthday party for a dear friend who turns 80 on the first so that will probably my first card for the new year! I'm still working on making and mailing Christmas cards! Also need to get some gift card holders made for my DS's Christmas presents.

I'm sure I'll be stamping New Year's Eve...yesterday started my 13 day vacation!! YIPPEE! I don't go back to work until Jan.2nd. I didn't make any cards yesterday but I did color a lot of images - I think I have 20-30 colored now.

I refuse to make one more Christmas card this year! LOL!! I had to buy some but even ran out of those too...so about 10 people got marked off my list this year. Oh well. I certainly need to get more organized in 2014....if I could make 10 Christmas cards every month it would be great!!

I didn't get to make too many Christmas cards this year - they had me working often.
I will go to a New Year's Eve party at a friend's house, then I can stamp on New Year's Day. Then school opens on January 2 & I already have almost 2 weeks of subbing starting on January 2. School nursing is busy.....

So anyone have any crafty goals for 2014 (of course besides the obvious of being here doing the 100x100 challenge)? I've been thinking about the gallery here on SCS. There are so many submissions that don't get any comments....I've been trying to jump on every day and at least comment on 1-2 that have no comments. I think for 2014 I'm going to pick a number and then comment on that many every week. Not sure what that will be yet. I also want to start trying some new techniques...you know - go outside my box. Lastly - it doesn't apply to stamping - but I want to get back into crocheting.

I don't often surf through SCS but this challenge looks interesting. I usually only do digi scrapping now (saves on the messiness) but sure doesn't use up all the supplies I've been hoarding since 2001! I all but stopped making cards except for Christmas and Valentine's Day and I haven't bought anything except for an embossing folder this year to make my Christmas cards. This past year I didn't make any cards for anything else and "gasp" emailed birthday wishes instead!

I'd like to give this a try to use up the mountains of card stock and paper I've got and use the hundreds of stamps I collected years ago that most have never seen the light of day Besides cards, I might even try to do some tradional paper scrapping...but don't hold me to that one ;)

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Glad so many people are joining in!

I have plenty of Christmas cards, I like to make them all year long. Just need to get them mailed. Family gets a photo card of the kids, so I only send handmade to crafty and special friends.

Zella, love the idea to make more comments in the gallery, great goal!

I should have a card up for Jan. 1, mainly because I have a DT card due that day.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend and not getting too caught up in the stress of the holidays!

Feeling as close to ready as I can be. A few more gifts to wrap and some cookies to bake. Oh, and the house looks as if it exploded.

Monday is my last day at work until January 2 and while my kids will be here for that too, I expect to be able to stamp and to get some organizing done!

*waves* Welcome! Welcome

( I made 6 more Christmas cards yesterday and one "frilly" thank-you that hubs asked for ) ha! finally nailed a card request from him the first try.
we went through this in Oct. when a customer gave us a couple bottles of wine and it took me three tries to get him a card he liked...

this time the request was "frilly" lol so, I puttered around making more Christmas cards until I could attempt something. will go put it in the gallery later.

and stamping on next weekend for having something to post on New Years day could very well be exactly what I am doing? ( probably spring stuff) although I need 4 January birthday cards off the top of my head.

Hey everyone, it's nice to see more folks joining us. Welcome to the thread!

Jen, glad to hear your house sounds like mine. I think a tornado hit my kitchen, family room and craft/Elf shop. I have made more gifts this year than the past 5 put together. There are still lots to do in a very short amount of time.

Yea! more new friends......we are going to have so much fun......I like your idea Zella of commenting in the gallery....I will give that a try also.
I found some cute ideas on-line last night and in order to make them I needed two of SU's bigz dies that I don't have....so I quickly ordered the current one from SU and found the other on ebay at only three dollars more than it was in the catalog originally so feel pretty cocky right now.....they will be here before the 1st so they won't count as New.....LOL!.
Mr. H and his parents left for their home about 3 0 minutes ago...the house feels so empty.......All of t hem were sick or recovering.....Mr. H has a double ear infection, strep throat and of all things.....it turned into scarlet fever.....is on potent meds and doing loads better .....On the plus side, will see him Thursday----they are closing on their house and will move over the weekend. Grandpa and I are going to go in and house/baby sit---one of us will be at one house and one at the other so the kids don't have to worry about keys for the friends who are helping them move.........and so they don't have to strap him in a car for every trip........Neither of us are capable of much lifting but we can sure watch and keep the baby safe.....

I probably won't be able to do much of anything until after family leaves but I might be able to have something ready for Jan 1. I need to at least clean up enough that I have room to work. I am also slowly reorganizing my clear/cling stamps (too slowly) so finishing that would be a good goal for me.

Pansy - hope everyone recovers quickly and no one else gets sick!

I would love to join you ladies on the 100 by 100 group. I love any challenge that requires me to make use of stashed and hoarded items from my stamp room.
Here's some goals I would love to meet in this challenge:

1. Make use of at least one item from my crafting junk out in my garage (that's in addition to the craft junk that is housed in my stamp room) each day.
2. Work on depleting cardstock and design paper piles.
3. Each card needs to use at least one scrap that is left behind from previous projects.
4. Make use of some stamps that haven't seen ink in years.
5. Sell these 100 cards to make money for a prison ministry I am involved in.

I know I have set the bar high for myself but I really need to get busy using up this paper and the mile high scraps that I can't just put in the trash before they dry rot!!LOL
I fear dying and my husband putting all this paper out for the garbage when it took me years to build up this stockpile!! Maybe my sweet sister would at least pass it out to all my crating friends before he would do such a disaster.

I am so glad I discovered this challenge. It may just be the thing that to downsize these piles (although it might be quite a challenge for even an army of crafters to tackle)!!!!

okay... so, something occurred to me in the shower this morning because, I have a shopping collecting brain you know...

what if you get your 100 cards done before the 100 days is up?
( then you are free to shop right?)

Pansy, they are lucky you guys are close enough to do this for them. hopefully they all are totally well and up to moving that fast.

LOL! Stacy, you made me laugh, I'm a shopper and collector, too! Gosh, I might get 100 done by Jan 10th if I feel the need to shop. Just kidding of course, I don't think I could do more than one most days.

Liz, you have some great goals! I've told my husband a few times, if anything happens to me, find some crafty friends who will use/enjoy my stuff, don't throw it out! My MIL is a quilter and they accumulate quite big stashes of fabric. One of her friends passed away and the woman's husband held a little party type thing, with coffee, tea and cake. He laid out all of his wife's quilting supplies and had her friends take what they wanted. My MIL said it was really nice, they talked about the woman and the good times they had, and they all have some things from her to remind them of her. I thought that was a sweet idea.

Ugh, Jen, I'm nowhere near ready! I can't seem to get anything done with the kids around. I'm going to have to pull a few allnighters! LOL!

Pansy, hope little H is doing better, ear infections stink!

Hope everyone has a good day today. We have weird weather, very humid and rainy feels like spring here. I wanted to light a fire over the weekend, but it was too hot!

I probably won't get to sit down and make any cards until about the 3rd. Getting to Florida on the 30th and Brian's family will still be at his house until the 2nd or 3rd, so I will in a whirl wind with them the first few days down there. After that he will probably be off doing guy things with his son so I should have some crafty time. Just hope I didn't forget to send anything really important (ilke my paper trimmer) when I sent card supplies ahead with him.

Zella, I will be attempting to teach my 11 year old niece to crochet over Christmas while I am in Cincinnati. I got her a "how to" kit for her birthday last month and sis says she has been waiting for me to get there to show her how. I'll be taking extra hooks and some old yarn to practice. I also have a couple of old knitting projects packed that I hope to work on and maybe even finish during travel times. I can get quite a bit done in the car and on airplanes.

I would love to join this challenge. I'm new to SCS and also new to card making, so many of my 100 will probably be scrapbook layouts or mini albums but I really wanna give cards a try. As Paula has shared with ya all I'm a huge paper addict and have a huge stash of it( I need a 12x12 program and fast LOL) ...... and hope this challenge helps me use some of it up and learn a few new things also. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and I can't wait to play and share with everyone. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday Hugs, Tammy aka tjskids

I hope everyone gets well by Christmas. It's no fun spending holidays feeling bad.

Sounds like Stacy is determined to shop. She must be making room for new things.

Yay, Tammy (tjs kids) is joining us. I'll turn her into a cardmaker and make her use those paper scraps. Welcome Miss Tammy. Glad to have you joining in the fun.

To all of my WRAK friends, this is my online scrapping buddy whom I sometimes refer to in threads. We share packs of scrapping supplies with one another. We try to scrap together about once a week. Yes, we we have met in real life too. We are convinced that we must be related somehow. Glad she is joining in at SCS?

Since I probably won't be on tomorrow , I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas! I will be doing most of the festivities Christmas eve and then another special meal Christmas day.

I have limited internet at home now, (thinking I may have to re-think this after the holidays and cave and get Charter or something different) not sure yet, but one thing that has happened the last week or so is I have gotten quite a bit done ( even during the week after work not sitting here on scs all night  SO, ) since I knew I wanted more corrugated paper and knew M's had some I went there tonight after work and I got a few pieces of that with some glitter papers... gonna be making some shimmery die cuts soon I think. and I got the go shopping in a store bug to pass too.

*waves* Hey Tammy, Welcome!

Pansy, they are lucky you guys are close enough to do this for them. hopefully they all are totally well and up to moving that fast.

they want to be out of the duplex by the 31 so they don't have to pay January rent......the landlord will charge them if they are there even an hour I guess. So sick or not,,,they will be moved....they have 5 days from closing....and as DS says--if I tell the guys there will be a keg on the deck, they will be there.

HEy Tammy, glad to have you join the fun.......we can help you reduce that stack of paper...I think.....

Stacy,,,,yes, you have permission to shop if you finish 100 cards before 100 days are up......but then you have to sign up for the second round too.

Hi all sorry I haven't posted. I haven't been checking in every day, if I do I sit here for hours! Trying to make quick fb posts too! I am not sure what my goals are. I like the 100 projects on 100 days. What is the 100th day of the year? If I buy anything, it will have a purpose. For example, I bought a new Christmas stamp and then used it right away to make our cards!! Gotta run, dh just turned out the lights. He has to work tomorrow and I need to drive him. Good night all

The way I calculate it, April 10th is the 100th day of 2014.

100 projects before US taxes are due.

I've been on a card-making frenzy, so definitely have something to post on the first.
I hope everyone gets well soon. I'd been sick for over two weeks with a stomach flu that wouldn't go away. Even my dog got it. She's on strong antibiotics now, and on a really expensive probiotic. Thank goodness her diarrhea stopped; I don't care about me, but her I was worried about.
