The day has finally arrived when we can reveal our new gallery uploader!
AFTER this is rolled out, we will then change the whole look of the gallery, so stay tuned for changes soon. We know you will love them.
In the meantime, let me torture you with what you're getting
:
- Three ways to upload:
- Browse for a file on your computer as you do now
- Drag and drop photos from your computer. (Note - IE doesn't support this, so to take advantage, switch to Firefox, Chrome or Safari now)
- Upload from a URL - Flickr, your blog, wherever. Just right click on the image and choose "Copy Image Location" to get a working URL for your photo.
- Uploading tips for newbies and for special challenges, etc.
- A VASTLY simplified list of categories - no more scrolling for 40,000 pages to see what you want. First, you'll either leave it in your member gallery, OR choose a main category from a short list. If you choose a main category other than Member Gallery - for example, Stampin' Up! Sets A-B, then you will be prompted to choose a sub category, where it will only show you the sets that are A-B.
- All the unused clutter on the upload screen - GONE. Poof!
(pauses while all of you scream and cry and laugh and dance and call your friends to squeal)
- A field for common card sizes - A2, etc. ** Please note, this will not be displayed yet - please use it, and when we re-do the gallery layout, those designations will show.
