My name is Kristie and I work full time as an admin assistant for a commercial real estate company. I have been married to Mike for 3 years and we have an adopted dog, Amber, who will be 4 in March. She's a Jack Russell terrier mix and quite the handful! In addition to scrapbooking and stamping, I love to read and I love anything to do with Disney. We just got back a few weeks from our anniversary trip :-). Oh and I am a demo for SU (mostly for myself!)

Oh, well you were just in my neck of the woods if you just came from Disney! I only live about an hour away. I grew up about 20 minutes from the park. So, I too am a Disney lover!!!

Thanks for the welcomes! For now I added a page to my blog with the links for my blogging groups. I can't figure out how to do it in my sidebar...my hubby is looking into it though. My blog is self hosted and he takes care of a lot of the behind the scenes stuff.

Sorry I am so late with this month's challenge. We are still in the process of selling our condo and buying our house and now my company is planning major layoffs in the next two weeks so it's amazing I have a shred of sanity left.
Anyway, I know October is my month for challenges so here it is. I love October because I love Halloween - candy, costumes, spookiness - it's just the best. I have already posted some Halloween cards on my blog, but I need to see more Halloween goodness to scare away all of the anxiety I am feeling. Therefore, this month's challenge is all about Halloween! You can make anything - card, scrapbook page, 3D papercraft, etc.
Be sure to tag your photo with CWPPTOCT13 so we can all find your creations and post to the thread when you have uploaded your projects so we can all go and "oooohhhh and aaaaaahhhh" over them.

I should be able to find something for this challenge. I have a ton of Halloween projects I am trying to finish.
Yesterday was my birthday so I spent all day with my DD and DH. We grilled steaks outside and just enjoyed a picture perfect day! Tonight my DS present arrived and I opened it up via Facetime so he could see. He got me some new Coach perfume and lotion. DH got me a beautiful pendant necklace with blue diamonds. I totally did not expect! My DD made handmade soap and a bouqet of beautful flowers. I had a very nice birthday to say the least.
Today I booked tickets for Wicked and to see the Rockettes in NYC. I can't wait!!! Sarah, I managed to get Orchestra tickets for the Rockettes! I couldn't believe it.
Happy Birthday Dell! Sounds like you had an amazing day! :-) Glad to hear you got the tickets. I haven't seen Wicked but have heard it's amazing. NYC at Christmas is magical! (If you ignore the dirt and the strange odors.....lol)
The next two weeks are going to be rough as we are waiting to essentially find out our fate. I'm trying to not let it get to me. Maybe it will all be a blessing in disguise in the end. Who knows, right? Worst part is that my craft room is packed up for the move so no stamping or scrapping until the beginning of November! Ugh.

WICKED is outstanding! You will love it. I love Broadway musicals. I have never been to NYC and have always thought I would love to be there during the holidays and NYE.
I still need to leave LOVE for you all and my apologies for being so slow at doing so. I have three projects to finish by Friday and one is for May Arts Halloween Challenge. I haven't forgotten... I just work very slow.
Sorry to hear about layoffs - I hate to see that happen. We went through one a couple of years ago with my dh. We made it even though I wondered how it would happen.
I am looking for the name of a SU set (I believe) that has a small tag with a snowman and the word Joy. Anyone know which one that might be?
Hi all, I'm back from vacation but have been down with the flu for three days, now it think its just a cold in my chest. At least I can keep food down, but the cough is awful.
Hopefully I'll be back in the swing if things next week.
hey all. hope everyone is having a nice weekend. i'm pooped. saturday was a full moon so DH decided he wanted to take the kids (+2 cousins) night fishing. and of course we went around 10pm and didn't get home until after midnight. it was a lot of fun though... i just wish his idea wasn't so last-minute because we could have started at 7 or 8 instead.
been having bouts of insomnia - last night i finally crashed around 6am and was up by 9... so i'm dragging along today. hoping to get some rest tonight. hope everyone has a nice week!

8 weeks! Yikes! Yes, I'm very thankful it's only 2 weeks. Our little condo is now empty of all its furniture and today we are emptying out the last few things/cleaning. Then it's off to my mom's until we move again. I haven't been able to craft, but I do have a ton of photos that I never posted to the blog so hopefully I"ll get caught up on that while at mom's.
Too bad my mom's not a stamper, otherwise I could raid her crafty stash!

In other news....I survived the layoffs at work and we close on the house tomorrow. I'm so excited! One step closer to having a craft room that I do not have to share with a stinky boy! :-)
Happy Halloween everyone! Spending the day at the dentist with DH today. Dentist sent us to Endodontic now back to dentist and he has cracked tooth. They just extracted it. What a trick!

I haven't had much time to update my blog this past week. Been super busy and with the holidays approaching seems like time is getting away from me. I hope to visit blogs in the next few days and get mine done too.
Had a nice Halloween here. A local restaurant chain offers face painting so I went with my bff and daughter, my honorary niece. The little one was born on Halloween so I always like to see her if I can.
Then when they headed home I headed to a fun fair at a local church.
I'm not updating my blog as much as I would like but I've been doing lots of crafting. Had camera issues (Ok, I couldn't find my battery charger! LOL).
