Default creating gallery albums

is it possible to move & sort existing gallery items to an album or do they need to be re-uploaded?

Regarding uploading: is there a daily limit and frequency (how soon between uploads) limit? I seem to recall there being one but can't remember.

Thank you!

You would just click your photo, then click edit photo.

There is no limit, but to prevent gallery "flooding" we ask you to keep it to about ten per hour

Thank you!
I did try the edit, but failed to see the option to place it in an album.

Look for the dropdown called "category".

Albums are at the end.

However, please note - if you move it to an album, it's semi-private. It won't show up in the main gallery or in gallery searches. Your best bet is really your member gallery.

AH!! found it. and OH! bummer. Ok, that's good to know. I was considering stepping up as hostess for a vacant spot in the scrapbooking challenges, thought it would be helpful to sort all my scrapbook pages into one album so they'd be easier to see for the scrappers... I guess not. Hmm.

Interesting. I "liked" your post #4 for having the information but not the information itself!

I came over here to put in a suggestion for a global change option. Each thumbnail with it's own 'select' checkbox that you could then delete or move those items to your albums with one final click. It would still be great to delete, but I guess you don't even want to use albums if you want to share your cards. Kind of bummed about that.

We will look at albums again when we do our gallery remodel. Unfortunately that album option that our gallery software uses just isn't all that wonderful - that's why we really don't recommend them.
