I already have the MS score board. Is there any reason why I would want the Diagonal score board from SU? I know that it fits, but why would it be beneficial?
I use my diagonal score board primarily for making envelopes from designer paper. I think it's THE BEST Sale-A-Bration pick. Well, that, and the petite label punch.

Thank you.
If you have the MS score board, don't you already have the diagnal piece? I thought it was just an addition to the regular SU score board...or is there a whole new score board that I did not see yet?

Don't have the diagonal plate yet, but I'm adding it to my SAB order. Here's what made me decide I "need" it:
With the diagonal piece for my Martha board, I can get the same angle. However, if I want to score across the diagonal of a 12x12 piece of paper, the board isn't big enough. The score lines are 12" long; the diagonal of a 12x12 is just a hair under 17" long.
Now, will I have a frequent need to score across the diagonal of a 12x12 sheet of paper? Honestly, probably not. But gosh-darn-it, I want to know that I can if I want to
ETA - it is an addition to the SU score board - instead of a triangle insert like with the Martha board, it's a plate that covers the entire scoring part of the board but it doesn't include any measurement markings. Those who have tried it confirm that it will also fit into the Martha board.
Now I'm really happy. I have the MS board and just ordered the diagonal SU one on my last SAB order. I had no idea the boards would fit together. I was just going to wing it. I'm thrilled that I don't have to!
Isn't the SCOR-PAL the same thing? What is the difference between those two? I have the Scor-Pal.
Karen -
The Scor Pal is different from both the SU! scoring board and the MS board - they all do the same thing, but the spacing between the score lines is different. Also, the SU! board is the only one with the built-in markers. I don't own the SU! board, but I've used it at my demo's house; I do own both the Scor-Pal and the MS board. I actually like the Scor-Pal better, but sometimes it's easier to have the closer-together score lines. And the SU! diagonal plate won't fit in the Scor-Pal.
