It COULD be your printer. If you're running out of yellow ink it will be darker than usual. That's the hard part with printing out colors like this! They are VERY specific! I need to get a new printer.....one that has the individual cartridges so I can just replace the one that is low @ the time.

Thank you, Belinda, for posting the RGB codes for the 2008 In Colors and to DeniseH for working them out!

Thanks for the additional information, DisneyDoll. Could you explain how you got them from your Photoshop 7.0 program, please?

I took the image of the colors from the preview catty online and brought it into Photoshop. Using the "color picker" it will tell you what the RGB codes as well as the CYMK codes are for any color in an image.
Wow! Thank you DisneyDoll.
My knowledge of PS 7 is very limited, though I do seem to remember being able to name colours in the palette, so I suppose you could do that with all the SU! colours.
Did you learn PS 7 from a scrapping perspective, or just generally?

I do website design, and I really like this program for my graphics. I always go back to it even though I do have the latest version of it, I prefer 7.0 for some reason! I can't tell ya why, exactly! I do use it as well for digital scrapping....I don't digitally scrap usually, just sometimes I like to send my parents or friends a picture that is more than just a picture, KWIM?

Yes, I do. Thanks for your time DisneyDoll!

I am truly humbled by the time, effort, and stamina it took the many individuals to create such a wonderful, helpful document. Thank you for the selfless act you have done by sharing this with the rest of us here!!
thank you everyone!
I tried the custom color for a project at school,
never thinking about all SU colors ....
wow won't my friends be impressed with the possibilities!

I use a different method. Unfortunately, with my particular computer I have found that what appears on the screen or what I have scanned in isn't the most accurate. So I have to "...play around..." in each color value and continue printing up different values until I have a match that satisfies me.
Since printers mix colors differently, here are my lists:
Red, Green, and Blue color codes. These are the amounts of each color your printer uses to mix a color when you print. You can type whatever you want in a word document and change the color to match SU ink colors if you know these codes. Then print custom sentiments on the inside of your cards that matches whatever you stamp.
Does anyone have a word document that has the colors formatted for each line of text?
My feeble brain can't seem to be able to remember 3 silly numbers to type in the custom color boxes. I have searched and searched for a Custom Color Palette program for MS Word without upgrading to Office 2007 to no avail.
I was thinking if I had a word document with all of the colors listed typed in the appropriate color, I could just paste into a new document.
(Can you tell I use these frequently and do most of my journaling on a printer?)
Thanks if anyone has done this! If not, I'm going to get to work on that project in the next day or so.

Wilma Bass did all of the work and made up Word documents in each of the color families. I'm pretty sure she has "kept it up" with the new in-colors...check deeper within the thread. If not, I'm sure they've been done somewhere.
See, this is just one of MANY reasons why I LOVE SCS!!! I've learned so much about stamping. Having these codes will definitely help me get exactly the right sentiment whether I have a stamp for it or not! Ladies, once again THANKS - YOU ROCK!!!!
