Default Bought Spectrum Noir markers...

...what ink do I need to stamp my images with. I tried my Versafine Onyx Black and it smears. I let it sit before I tried it. Is it the paper I'm using or do I need something else? I realize I need to order different paper. If I need different ink I want to get it at the same time. Thank for your help
Marcia

I am new to them, too, and found my Memento Tuxedo Black works fine. I tried the Neenah CS and it was nice, but then found the Georgia Pacific at Walmart for about $5 a ream. It works great and I honestly cannot tell a big difference. I figured it would be perfect for my practicing, especially.

That is good to know about the paper! Does anyone know of a conversion chart for the Spectrum Noirs and Copic colors?

I use memento black and it works for me. I use it on the crafter's companion cs and the coredinations smooth white from Joann. Works on both.

Like others, I use Momento inks. I also like digi stamps, so I use my ink jet printer to print images. I was at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and found special paper for Copic markers in the art section. It came bound in a notebook. It's a little thinner than Card stock, but I get fantastic results and the price was very reasonable. I made this card using the paper.

Sorry, I don't have a conversion chart, but I would love to have one too.
